Cupcake Challenge 122

Hello everyone, today on Cupcake Challenge 122 we have a theme of thank you and this week we are sponsored by The Creative Cottage who are giving us a £10 gift voucher as a prize and Tickled Pink who are giving the lucky winner either the choice of two digis or one rubber stamp. I am also entering my card into this month's Quixotic Challenge where the theme is also thank you.

For my card I have used a WOJ stamp from the birdie love stamp kit and it is coloured with copics and highlighted with stickles. The DP is from papermania and the embossing was done with my divine swirl folder. I hand wrote the sentiment and finished off with some ribbon and jewels. This card was really quick and easy to make, but I'm not happy with it......I used a cream card base and therefore embossed cream card for the front and I'm not too sure about it! lol!

So, the other girls have done a great job as usual and provided some fabulous inspiration and also, don't forget our Cupcake Madness... this month we are sponsored by Wild Rose Studio and they are giving us a prize of two gorgeous stamps. All you have to do to enter is join in with at least two cupcake challenges this month and your name will be included in the draw.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Cream and blue card, Papermania

Crafty Sentiments Sneak Peek 1

Hello everyone, today I have a card to show you that features one of the soon to be released stamps from Crafty Sentiments. The new spring stamps will be released on 6th June and I have to tell you that there are some real cuties. I am also entering this card into Quixotic Challenge 28 and Copic Creations Challenge 29 which both have a theme of animals.

I coloured the Crafty Sentiments image with copics and the DPs are from my stash. I used my MS trellis punch to make the scalloped border - I just slotted the trellis bit underneath my matted DP. I finished off with ribbon and jewels and the centre of my bow has a ribbon slider - it took me ages to figure out how to make this, I was just having one of those moments, but I am pleased with the end result.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Yellow and white card, DP from stash
Stamps: Crafty Sentiments
Colouring: Copics - W1, W3, W5, W7, C1, C3, C5, C7, R20, Y11, Y17, YR23, BV00, 0
Embellishments: Ribbon, jewels, ribbon slider
Tools: Cuttlebug, nesties, sewing machine

Bismarck

Hello everyone, I'm not on good form this week as my hay fever is really bad but I have managed to colour up this gorgeous image from Mo's Digital Pencil and I have added another card to my christmas card collection. I am also entering it into the following challenges; Quixotic Challenge 27 which has a theme of embossing, I have followed the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challange 28 and finally the theme over on this week's Winter Wonderland Challenge is Christmas Sweets.....well my take on this theme is the red and white of candy canes and Bismark has his very own christmas sweet in the form of a bone!

I have coloured Bismarck with copics and my DPs are from DCWV. I have stitched around the edge of each element with my sewing machine and I used my snowflake folder for the embossing. Finally, I finished off with some jewels and some ribbon.

Supplies
Card/Paper: Red and white card. DCWV - Christmas Wishes
Stamps: Mo's Digital Pencil - Bismarck, sentiment - WOJ
Colouring: Copics - C1, C3, C5, C7, W1, W3, W5, W7, Y17, E35, G94, E50, E51, E53, R27, R29, R59, 0
