Cupcake Challenge 249

Hello everyone, this week over on Cupcake Challenge 249 we have a theme of anything but square and we are sponsored by My Crafty Heart who are giving us a £10 gift voucher as a prize.

This week I have made a set of 6 tags using my WMS Rescue Remedies set. This is my fav stamp from the set and it is well used, as I'm sure you will have noticed!!! I simply stamped the image with memento tuxedo black ink, cut it out using my nesties dies and distressed it with vintage photo distress ink. I then added a good length of satin ribbon to the top of each one.

Supplies

Stamps: WMS - rescue remedies

Finally a closer shot. The picture frame is 5 x 7 inches and my creation is 6 x 4 inches in case anyone was wondering about the dimensions!

Cupcake Challenge 227

Hello everyone, today on Cupcake Challenge 227 we have a theme of "with bells on" and we would like to see bells of some sort on your card/project. This week we are sponsored by My Mum's Craft Shop and they are giving us a £10 gift voucher as a prize.

For my card today, I thought I'd make an early Christmas card and I used stamps from WMS Seasonal Remedies set. I stamped the image with memento rich cocoa ink and I distressed it with antique linen and vintage photo ink then I gave the same distress treatment to my background card and I repeatedly stamped my main image over again with antique linen to make my background.

I finished off with the usual stitching, some ribbon and a bell. This was very quick and easy to make but I really love the finished look, it also doesn't have a lot of layers either so hopefully it won't cost too much to post!!!

A bit of recycling

Hello everyone, today I have 4 CAS Christmas cards to show you and to make these I did a bit of recycling!! After last christmas I put aside 4 cards that had been sent to us and I thought I could recycle parts of them to make some CAS cards for this year.

The patterned shapes and the snowflake came off one card and we received two cards with a red glittered front and a large gold glittered shape. I used my heart, star and circle nesties to cut shapes from the glittered card and I ended up with an assortment of die cut shapes. After a bit of arranging I decided what would go where and I created these four cards.....which I have to say I am really pleased with and they look really effective in real life!!!

All the sentiments came from WMS and I used my copic multi liner to draw in the fine black lines. I used my corner chomper to shape the corners and I finished off each card with a ribbon bow.

I hope you all have a fab Christmas and new Year. xx

Supplies
Card/Paper: White card
Stamps: WMS - Seasons of Love, Compliments of the Season
Embellishments: Ribbon
Tools: Corner chomper, trouvaille, nesties
