Good Morning!

What a wonderful fall morning! I woke up to a crisp, cool morning and a beautiful sunrise!

The card that I have to share with you today is my first Christmas card this year...I am way behind last year! For some reason, I haven't been able to find my crafty mojo for a few weeks, and it has been somewhat of a challenge to make myself put together the cards and pages that I have! Ok, enough about me, on to my card!
I started with this sketch from Stampin Royalty :
I used a digital scrapbook kit from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, "Winterland".
I embossed some cardstock with a snowflakes to go underneath the sled image, which was cut in a circle shape using my Cricut and Winter Wonderland Cartridge, which I also used to cut the sentiment "Warm Winter Wishes" in regular, then the shift in the light blue cardstock, which I embossed with my Swiss Dots folder. I layered snowflakes-the felt one was a stiffened glittery felt that I cut with my Doodlecharms cart and Deep Cut Blade, and some rhinestone snowflakes. I added pink flocked brads from Doodlebug, a deep red shabby seam binding ribbon, a clear acrylic snowflake with glittered red dots from Making Memories Fa La La line, and a red glitter brad by Making Memories.

The challenges that I am entering this card into are:

Happy Fall, Y'all!

Well, it's finally starting to feel like fall where I live, and I am truly enjoying the cooler weather!I really wish there were more fall colors here this year, but it has been so dry for the last few months!Flag football has ended for my little guy, now it's cheerleading for the twins and basketball for my son! Busy, busy, busy! But, in between all of the hectic hustle and bustle, I was able to eke out a card...I love the uptown houndstooth digi paper from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, and I was able to use Lindsay's Leaf Prints digistamps in a way to satisfy my longing for pretty fall colors. I coated the leaves with Glossy Accents and let them curl a bit for a realistic look, and mounted them on some pretty textured chocolate colored cardstock that reminds me of a warm sweater, and some yummy ribbon and shabby seam binding.I based the card on a sketch from 2Sketches4You, and followed several challenges for this card:

And guess what?!If you loved the sets I used for my card, EVERYTHING at MyGraphico is on sale for 40% off, today only!! Don't miss it! And, while you're there, check out the Halloween contest/giveaway-there are awesome prizes (including a Cuttlebug) to be won!
