Love

 

Hello Tuesday, I am doing a quick share of another card that I recently created.   We should share and express love at anytime but February is when we celebrate Heart Health month and Valentines Day. I created my card using sketch inspiration from the Stick it Down group on FB, papers from the Recollections Girl Squad paper pad, a Recollections embossing folder and the Inspire (Spellbinders) Love Vine die for the focal point. I really shopped my stash on this one and it came together nicely and will be going postal soon;  I need to be more intentional in getting my cards in the mail!

I am sharing this card for the February Reds and Pinks challenge over at Die Cut Divas and the Tic Tac Toe challenge number 286 using the top row across (hearts, die cutting, red/pink).

Wednesday Musings

 

Hello and happy Wednesday, the last day of the month and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed!  Today's card share is one created using sketch inspiration from the Stick it Down July sketch over in their FB group.  The papers came from one of the Violet Studio paper pads, cut the flowers using the scrapbook.com Flower Market die set, added some bling to the flower ceners and a stamped sentiment and this card was done!  Another signature clean and simple card ready to go postal.  I am so far behind in creating my layouts, I really hope I can spend some time scrapbooking over the weekend.

CIU #303 - Add a Sentiment

 Hello and happy Friday and National Scrapbooking Weekend! Today's project share is my design team project for  the Cut it Up challenge blog.  The theme for challenge #303 is Add a Sentiment, the challenge starts today and ends, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at noon PST. 

When putting my card together I used sketch inspiration from  this month sketch from the Stick it Down (FB) group. The one piece of  pattern paper is from an American Crafts Spring 6x6 pad, I used a Sizzix border die, a flower die and a word die for the sentiment.  Finished the card by adding some Recollections gems and some TH Ranger distress black soot distress spray stain for the splatters!  I'm sharing this card for the Cardz 4 Galz challenge #224, Mother's Day or  any other celebration.

Saturday Musings

 Hello Saturday night,  it has been a rough day but I did manage to get a few cards done. I created this card using sketch inspiration from this month’s card sketch over at Stick it Down.  I used papers from the My Mind’s Eye Dwell  6x6 paper pad, a Spellbinders die set for the sentiment and a few Paper Studio gemstones. I am sharing this card on IG for the #2crafters1design challenge, this week theme was “thanks.’ The weekend goes by so fast, there never seems to be enough hours in a day

Feel Better Soon

 Hello and happy Saturday, another day of gratitude because things could have been different.  I started this post yesterday but as life would have it I didn’t get the chance to share it.  I spent the day with my father at the hospital,  drove himself to the hospital on  Wednesday and he was well enough to be discharged yesterday.  I used sketch inspiration from the Stick it Down  monthly card sketch, some papers from a 6x6 paper pad that has been in my stash for a long time, the typewriter stamp is from a Jillibean Soup stamp set and the sentiment is a Newton's Nook stamp set.  Finished the card by adding a few random gems.  I am sharing this card over on IG for the 2Crafters1Design challenge, this week's challenge is a typewriter.
