Fall Treats

Hey everybody!  Today I am sharing a fun fall treat idea.  I have a card, and treat holder that is sure ot brighten up anyone's day.

My projects feature products from the Color Theory product suite in the Annual Catalog, and also a couple of items from the Holiday Catalog.

My card starts with an Old Olive card base.  I stamped the solid leaf from the Colorful Seasons stamp set, in Old Olive.  This stamp set is on sale.  (Today is the last day!)  I have also stamped the detailed leaf from that set, in Cajun Craze.  Then I cut a piece of Old Olive Color Theory Designer Series Paper, with the crackled design, matted it with Cajun Craze, and attached it to the side of my card.  Next I cut out 3 detailed leaves from the coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlit Dies in Cajun Craze.  I attached 1 whole leaf over the designer series paper.  The other two I positioned in such a way that I was able to cut them, and use them twice.  For my greeting, I punched out a Whisper White Everyday Label Punch.  I then stamped the label with my greeting, from the Colorful Seasons stamp set, in Cajun Craze.  I used the small solid leaf stamp and Old Olive ink to decorate the label a bit.  I swirled some Jute Twine behind my label, and attached the whole thing to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For my little treat, I filled a Treat Tube from the Holiday Catalog with candy corn.  I then used the Seasonal Layers Thinlit Dies to cut out one detailed leaf in Old Olive, and one small solid leaf in Cajun Craze.  I attached both leaves to the tube with a little bit of Tear & Tape Adhesive.  At the top, I used some more Jute Twine to make a bow.

I hope you liked my projects.

#SSINKSC48

Hey there everybody!  Today, over at SSInkpsiration we have a fun sketch challenge for you.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

I had lots of fun with this sketch!  I love the new Painted Harvest stamp set from the holiday catalog.  I started with a Cajun Craze card base, that I embossed with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder.  After it was embossed, I used a sponge, and my Cajun Craze ink, to add some extra dimension to the background.  My strip, and half circle both come from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.  For my stamped flower, I started by cutting out a circle with the Stitched Shapes framelits in Very Vanilla.  I then stamped my flower in Tangerine Tango, and Cajun Craze.  My flower center is Soft Suede, and Chocolate Chip.  For my tag, I started out with a piece of Very Vanilla that measures 2" x 2 1/2".  I used my Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and added my greeting in Cajun Craze.  I added two leaves that I inked up in Lemon Lime Twist, stamped off on my grid paper, and then stamped on my tag.  My final touch is a bow made from the Jute Twine.  I separated the Jute Twine, so it was not quite so thick on my card.

Please be sure to head over to the Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration blog to see how the rest of the design team has used this sketch, and play along with our challenge for yourself!

ICS Blog Hop Giving Thanks

Welcome to November's edition of the ICS Blog Hop!

I'm so glad you stopped by!  Tonight we are all sharing Thanksgiving type projects.  I LOVE Thanksgiving.  It is absolutely my favorite holiday of the year.  I love the kindness in the air, the extra time spent with family, and all of the remembrance of things we should all be more thankful of.

I love that I get the opportunity to cook a big meal for my family, and that we get to focus on spending time with each other.

Tonight, I have a little favor box to share with you.  I am thinking about putting these little boxes at each setting this thanksgiving.  I'll include a little treat, and a list of some reasons why I am thankful for that person.

We also made these boxes at my stamp camp last weekend.  It was so fun showing the gals how to use the Gift Box Punch Board!  Have you used it yet?  You can make over 15 different size boxes, and you don't need adhesive!  To top it off - it's only $19.95!

I used the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper to accent the sides, and the For All things stamp set on the top.

The label framelits are attached to a Mossy Meadow belly band, so that the box is still easy to open and close.

Thanks so much for stopping by my spot on the blog hop!  Next up is Darla & Nancy!  I know they'll have something fabulous for you to see!  You can get there easily by clicking the "Next" icon below!

Have a great night!

Inspire. Create. Share. Blog Hop Fall is in the Air

Welcome to this month's edition of the ICS Blog Hop!  Can you believe that we've had this group going for a year now?  I'm so honored to be a part of this group, with such talented ladies on board!

This month is all about fall.  Fall is in the Air ladies, it's just about time to break out those cute boots, and warm scarves.

My card features the All Things Fall stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.  I LOVE the Holiday Catalog!  I'm not sure how it happens - but each catalog just keeps getting better!

My card is part of a set of nine cards that came from a One Sheet Wonder.  Come back tomorrow to see the other cards, and the template I used.

Next up on the hop is Pearl, who I am sure has made something lovely for you to see!
Thanks for stopping by!!
