Thanks to all you lovely people who came and supported us at our 5th Ultimate Rubber Stamping Demo Day last month. It was a super day as always and the girls demo'ing did an amazing job yet again.
===== Kim =====
Kim was busy demo'ing products from Imagination Crafts along with Mica powders, twinkling H20s and the incredible Stampendous Frantage range.
You can see more of Kim's creations on her blog
Kimx
===== Clare =====
Copic Markers, Molly Blooms Stamp Designs, jute string, 3D creations - this combo can only be the talented Clare Rowlands.
Follow Clare's adventures on her blog : Molly Blooms
===== Lisa =====
Lisa made me laugh, she'd gone for a walk with hubby and new puppy the day before the demo and hubby couldn't understand why the walk was taking so long and why Lisa kept stopping to pick up things. Lisa was
collecting real leaves to create her autumn feel to her table top. And what a cool display it turned out to be.
Lisa was loving demo'ing her new eBosser and seems like you guys did too - we completely sold out on the day :)
EBossers are not back in stock with UK suppliers now until early Jan :(
===== Louise =====
Copic Markers, Distress Markers, Saturated Canary stamps, Wild Rose Studio and Magnolia stamps were among the array of products that Louise worked with on the day. Such a talented lady.
Keep up-to-date with Louise's artwork by following her blog : Just Love To Stamp.
===== Michelle =====
Michelle was completely crackers! Sorry, I meant Michelle was creating DIY crackers! She also demo'ing all things sticky along with foil and beads. It never ceases to amaze me what she comes up with. Hope to see more of Michelle next year in a demo or two if she can fit us in.
===== Chris=====
Chris was having way too much fun showing you how to embellish your Christmas projects with the brand new Tattered Poinsettia bigz die from Tim Holtz along with grungeboard, Kaisercraft projects and sweeties!
===== Lou =====
If you haven't seen Lou's unique style of working with colouring mediums and the results she gets from being creative with magnolia stamps, you are really missing a treat. She'll be doing more demo's next year with us and watch out for the possibility of a class or two :)
To find out more about Lou's creations, you can follow her blog at Crafty Lou's Small world.
======
If you enjoyed the projects and artwork you saw on the day, keep an eye on the class schedule as many of these lovely ladies teach classes at Sir Stampalot too. Classes can fill up quickly so book early to avoid disappointment.
Next class schedule for the first quarter of 2013 will be released at midday on Monday 17th Dec 2012 - still quite a few classes and dates to finalise but we should be target.
As well as the demonstrators, we had plenty of helpers on the day on-hand for all our needs! Jane and Cheryl were on catering duty (check out the green spooky tarts):
Steph and Mandy were our runners for the day, and Kay was extremely busy manning her own 'Create It Yourself' table as well as helping out with anything that needed attention.
And my folks were as helpful as ever, where would I be without them? Thanks all.
More amazing pumpkins carved out by Steph again this year, check this one out, a spooky witch design.
Thanks from all the team at Sir Stampalot, the demo'ing girls and myself, to everyone who came and supported us; it wouldn't be such a wonderful day if you weren't there!
And well done to Cheryl from Bretton, Peterborough - she was the lucky lady who won the prize draw on the day.
We'll be announcing a competition next week with goodies donated by Michelle from Stix 2. Watch this space...
Next FREE demo day here at Sir Stampalot, Peterborough, is not far away. On Saturday 8th December we have Jayne Saunders coming to demo her range of decoupage stamps and stencils along with the superb sparkle medium and micas from Imagination Crafts. See you then. Don't forget your camera!
Happy crafting - janicex

CHA 2012
It's hard work doing all this research for the shop and bringing you guys brand new products and techniques. I know you all feel very sorry for us and would like to come instead just to help us out and we really do appreciate the offer but we wouldn't want to burden you with the responsibility!!
So we're taking it one day at a time and will report back as soon as we can.
Firstly, watch out for up and coming instore classes using brilliant kits from companies with product lines that can produce great projects like this: Kaisercraft have this awesome desktop spinney tidy thing which looks amazing: this picture doesn't show it off that well but hopefully I'll have more shots to show you in the next couple of days.
Penny Black have again come up top-trumps with some amazing stamp designs and Elizabeth from Penny Black has created these wonderful samples which show the designs off perfectly: These designs are being prep'd for uploading on our website as we speak, keep an eye on the What's New section for pre-ordering info.
Graphic 45 is a new company for us and I was impressed with their papers and projects on their stand: One of the hottest new products on the market has to be the Distress Inks formula in a marker pen. Absolutely amazing results. Check this out:
and here's some info from Tim about his Distress Markers: "...available individually or as a set. these markers have many of the amazing qualities you've come to love with distress like being reactive with water to allow for amazing blending and shading, and of course coloring on directly on to your stamps and stamp with them. the dual tips are a flexible brush nib on one end for great coloring effects, and a plastic detailed nib on the other for journaling or fine detail work. these new distress markers are available in 37 colors... 37? oh yes, all 36 classic distress palette colors and white picket fence (just wait until you see what this cool white marker does with the other colors)..."
Additionally, one just for you Lisa, is the Ebosser: It's an electric die cutting machine that will hold die cutting sandwiches big enough for the bigz and bigz xl dies but also wide enough to accommodate the grand nesties - perfect.
Here's another product that our Lisa will love. It's a hot glue gun that plugs into your USB port on your computer. Great if you are on the go and don't have a plug socket but do have your laptop with you. It has a steady and fine glue flow for greater control AND no dripping when you complete your line of glue. Sizzix have plenty of new dies coming out. Again keep an eye on the What's New section of our website. Here are some snippets of projects that the Sizzix DT have come up with: Also we are loving the Wendy Vecchi designs: There are some amazing little dies coming onto the marker that match the 'art gone wild' designs but also great to use with other designs: Darcie's have some wonderful stamp designs and papers coming out too: Coming soon instore, Stamper's Anonymous designs by Tim Holtz including this wonderful steam engine and plenty of other designs suitable for steampunk projects:
Right then, off to find more goodies, I'll be back... Don't forget to keep an eye on the What's New section of Sir Stampalot over the next couple of weeks
