Postcard On Canvas

Witajcie, to mój pierwszy post na blogu SnipArt. 

Bardzo się cieszę, że mogę Was inspirować w tym roku! W pierwszej inspiracji rzuciłam sobie wyzwanie- użyłam różowego!

Nigdy nie używam tego koloru i raczej nie zaprzyjaźnimi się, ale chciałam wyjść poza swoją strefę komfortu. 

Zrobiłam okrągły blejtram z tekturkami pocztówkami i znaczkami z kolekcji "Up in the Air" 

Pocztówkę stworzyłam z papieru ryżowego dzięki temu wszystko stapia się w spójną całość.

I give myself a challenge for my first creation, I used pink!!

I never use the colour pink, she and I are no friends, but I like going out of my comfortzone....

I made a round canvas with chipboard postcards- and stamps from the "Up in the Air collection".

I used rice paper to make the card and the stamps blend in, in the composition.

Na tekturkach użyłam pudru do embossingu i dodałam trochę koronki, kwiatów i listków. Tekturka kwiatowa pochodzi z kolekcji "Beauty in the Dark". Aby je podkreślić użyłam szklanych perełek. 

I used embossing powder on the chipboards en added some lace, flowers and leaves.

The chipboard flowers you see are from the "Beauty in the Dark" collection, I put a glass pearl in them so they stand out.

Tu widzicie także kwiaty i tekturki z kolekcji "Magic Lights". Na brzegach pocztówek użyłam resztek ze snipartowych tekturek, bo miały ciekawy kształt. 

Here you also see the flowers from the stencil I used, from the "Magic Lights" collection.

On the edge of the postcard I used leftovers from the Stamp chipboard, because they had an amazing shape.

Tekst MDF nadaje całej pracy spójności. 

                               The tekst in MDF made the whole composition in balance.

Kartka w stylu vintage / A vintage card

wracam do Was ponownie z kartką. Tym razem postanowiłem zrobić ją w stylu vintage.

I come back to you again with a card. This time I decided to make it in a vintage style.

Warstwową tekturkę najpierw potuszowałem distressem, a elementy kwiatowe pokolorowałem używając mgiełek i gdy były jeszcze mokre dodałem też nieco tuszu tapując je za pomocą gąbeczki. Po wyschnięciu kwiaty pokryłem glossy accents. Napis pokryłem białym tuszem akrylowym, a resztę tekturek pozostawiłem w kolorze naturalnym.

First, I colored  the layered chipboard with Distress ink and colored the flower elements using mists, and when they were still wet, I added some ink by taping them with a sponge. After drying, the flowers were covered with glossy accents. I covered the inscription with white acrylic ink, and left the rest of the chipboard in natural color.

Na ramce dodałem małą kompozycję z kwiatów i tekturek. Dodałem też motylki.

On the frame I added a small composition of flowers and chipboards. I also added butterflies.

Drobne elementy dekoracyjne świetnie nadają się do ozdobienia wnętrza kartki, gdzie wpisuje się życzenia.

Small decorative elements are great for decorating the inside of the card, where wishes are inscribed

Nietypowe walentynki / Unusual Valentine's cards

Cześć wszystkim! Witam się z Wami w moim pierwszym poście dla SnipArtu. Bardzo się ciesze, że przez najbliższy rok będę miała okazję Was tutaj inspirować i już nie mogę się doczekać, żeby pokazać Wam moje pierwsze prace!

Hi guys!  I am so excited to be here today with my first projects for Snip Art. It is a great pleasure to be able to be a part of this fantastic team!  I totally can't wait to show you my first projects, so let's start!

Właściwie to te kartki miały nigdy nie powstać. Właściwie, to siadałam do biurka z myślą, że stworzę layout, a pomysł na te kartki wpadł do mojej głowy całkowicie niespodziewanie. Tworzycie walentynki? Bo ja nie. W sumie to mam ambiwalentny stosunek do tego święta - wiecie, każdy powód jest moim zdaniem dobry, by być dla siebie miłym, świętować małe szczęścia i powiedzieć tej najdroższej sercu osobie, że się ją kocha bardziej niż kruszonkę na cieście. Ale kartki walentynkowe nigdy mnie nie interesowały, wydawały mi się przesłodzone i kiczowate. 

Actually, I never intended to create these cards. Actually I sat at my desk thinking that I would create a layout, and the idea for these cards apeared in my head  unexpectedly. Do you create Valentine's cards? I don't. I have ambivalent attitude to Valentine's Day - you know, in my opinion every little reason is good to be nice to each other, celebrate little moments and tell someone the most important for our heart that we love him/her  more than the crumble cake on the cupcake. But typical Valentine's cards have never interested me, I’ve always found them too sweet and somehow fake.

Dzisiaj chciałabym Wam pokazać bardzo nietypowe kartki walentynkowe z wykorzystaniem dwóch najnowszych kolekcji Mad Scientist oraz Reach for the stars. Jak Wam się podoba takie podejście do tematu? 

Today I would like to show you very unusual Valentine's cards with using two of the latest Snip Art collections - Mad Scientist and Reach for the stars. What do you think about it?
