JustRite Friday Challenge #071

Good morning everyone.  Today I am playing along with the JustRite Friday Challenge #071.  This is a color challenge based upon the inspiration photo below. 

I really like these colors - a touch of Spring

The paper I chose for my card comes from the 6 x 6 paper pad from My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline.  As I was searching for paper to match the color inspiration I spotted this and it was a perfect match!! 

The sentiments that I chose today comes from the new release from JustRite called "Spring Rose Medallions".   The frame image in the center is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Copics and diecut with the JustRite Custom Nested Oval Medallion dies.  The sentiment in the center of the frame is stamped with Memento Rose Bud.  The sentiment in the lower right corner was stamped directly onto the paper using Memento Tuxedo Black.

JustRite Papercraft April Release Day 4

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the last day of JustRite Papercraft April releases.  I hope you have been inspired by these awesome new stamps.  I know that I have!!  Today will be no different - trust me!!  Today JustRite has 2 new background stamps to showcase - "Grandma's Attic" and "Fleuriste Newsprint".

For my card I chose to use "Grandma's Attic" background stamp.  When I saw this new stamp it reminded me of an old dress pattern - the brown paper type that you cut all of the pieces out and place them onto your fabric to cut.  For this reason I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black and then distressed the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa.  The buttons and thread tops are all colored with Copics.

The sentiment that I chose comes from the "Just Keep Calm" clear set which seemed to work perfectly with "Grandma's Attic" background.  It is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and Memento Potters Clay and diecut with JustRite Custom Nested Oval Medallion dies.  To finish off my vintage card I added some buttons randomly around the card.

JustRite Papercraft April Release Day 3

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to another release day.  Have you been inspired by the JustRite design team yet?  If not wait until you see today's projects - WOW!!! 

Today's releases are some beautiful edge stamps - Classic Lace Edgers One and Classic Lace Edgers Two.  Other than being completely gorgeous stamps, they are also compatible with Spellbinders Dies - How great is that!!

My card today is a shaped card created by using the Spellbinders Grand Labels 11 to make the card base.  Next I stamped one of the Classic Lace Edges One using both Memento Bahama Blue and Tuxedo Black and diecut using Spellbinders Classic Petal Edgeabilities.  Then I added a row of pearls which I colored with a Copic Marker to have it match the colors of my card.

The beautiful image and sentiment are included in the Spring Rose Medallions cling set.  I stamped the sentiment with both ink colors to give it some extra pop.  The 3 sets of roses along the edge are also included in Spring Rose Medallions.  I colored each with Copics and handcut them.  They are placed along the edge using pop dots.
