Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Howdy friends!
Whimsy Stamps just had their fabulous new release! New stamps, dies, and papers!
The stamp set I used is called, Cowboy Obsession.  It was stamped in black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  I kept the colors neutral as to not compete with the rest of the card.  The image was cut out using the Ropes and Barbs Die set.  For the barb wire portion I added Tim Holtz Grit paste and let it dry.  I dry brushed black, orange, and patina paints to achieve a rusty appearance.  When it was completely dry I added a bit of Tim Holtz Foundry Wax in Statue.  I heat set it.  Around the image itself, I added a bit more Grit paste with my finger and once dry, inked up the edges.  I also added a bit of the Foundry Wax, with my finger, to finish off the rustic look.  The papers in the background are from the Rustic Mountain paper pack.  A bit of twine and ribbon were tied to finish everything off.
I hope you can see the "rust" on the barbed wire.  I am completely obsessed with making tthis faux rust! You will be seeing a bit more of it soon!
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Birthday Cake and Birthday Pup!

Hello!
I have TWO cards to share with you today!
My first card uses Whimsy Stamp's Birthday Wish Layering Stencil. After I inked up the image twice, I fussy cut, the cake only part, on the second one and popped it up on the plate with dimensional foam tape. I added clear embossing paste to the chocolate areas only, for a bit of glossy dimension.  I added a teeny posy from my stash.  I used the Mix and Match Scallop Rectangles and the Starlit Gala 6 x 6 paper to create the background. I couldn't resist using some clear glass glitter around the outer frame.
My second card uses this adorable pup from the Doggone Birthdays set. He was colored with Copics.  I added a bit more depth and detail using a black colored pencil.  He was cut out using the pierced and stitched circle dies. I stamped the sentiment on a curve using my Misti. I again used the Starlit Gala paper for the background.  I tied a bit of rustic twine, added glossy accents to his balloon with a sprinkling of gold glitter.  A few star sequins and the card was done. :)

Thank you as always, for stopping by today! :)

Happy Doggone Birthday!

Hello friends!
I have TWO cards to share with you today using Whimsy Stamp's new Doggone Birthday set. My first card I created uses strips of cardstock in a diagonal pattern to create the perfect backdrop to my colored image.  The image was colored with Copics and given a bit more shadow and definition with a black colored pencil.  I placed packing tape over the image and then cut it out.  It is really hard to tell in the picture, but it gives it a shiny finish, which I love!
My second card was colored with Copics and fussy cut.  I used the It's Cloudy stencil for the background.  I popped the pup and balloons up using Crafty Foam Tape.  I stamped the sentiments on an angle for a bit of fun and added some sequins and stars.  For a final touch I added red and white twine.
Thank you as always for stopping by! I love your visits! :)

Fairy Special

Hello friends! I have a couple of cards to share with you today using Whimsy Stamp's new Fairy Special stamps.  These fairies are darling! I colored both images with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For the first card I used the Mix and Match Scallop Rectangle die and squished it in some ink.  I adhered the image with Crafty Foam Tape.  I added a sentiment and some tulle to the top.
For this second card I used the circle dies and the Pastel Butterflies 6 x 6 paper pack. I added glitter to the circle "frame" as well as her wings.  I tied coordinating green ribbon vertically to finish off the card. :)

Thank you for stopping by today! :)

New Release From Whimsy! Old Fart Inflation!

Whimsy has done it again! These new quick cards, Old Fart Inflation are a riot! We have all felt the frustration of the prices continuing to rise and there is nothing we can do about it! ;) Except maybe complain a lot! LOL!

I used the new Portrait Dies to create the frame around the image. I cut the sentiments with the Quick Strips 4 Die set.  I added some twine and coordinating gem stones to finish the card off.

Hope you got a chuckle out of these cards! :)
Have a wonderful day!

His Grace-6 Cards to Share Today!

Hello friends!
I have 6 cards to share with you today using Whimsy Stamp's new Quick Card Fronts, His Grace.  The images are absolutely stunning.  All of the cards shown have machine stitching on them.  This first set of cards uses the Mix and Match Scallop Rectangles and the Quick Strips 4 Die set for the sentiment. I added a satin ribbon and a teeny pink butterfly from the Field of Butterflies Die set.
My next pair of cards uses the Pierced and Stitched Circles Die to create a frame.  I added the sentiment using the Quick Strips 4 dies.  I added a few clouds and a butterfly from the Field of Butterflies die set.

This card uses the Terrific Tickets Add-Ons die to create the frame around the image.  I tied twine multiple times around the frame and found a praying hands charm in my stash.

My last card today uses the Savior Die set to create the frame around the image. I once again used the Quick Strips 4 dies for the sentiment. I adhered an orange bow along the bottom and then tied a large silk bow.  Little red posies and string were adhered to the bow's center.

I hope you enjoyed your visit with me today! I always appreciate you popping by!
Have a great day!

The time moves way too fast for me!
I sent a birthday box down to Georgia and included this card I created for her.

I will get to see this sweet nugget in May! I can't wait to see her!
