JustRite's New Release-Day Three!

Today is day three of JustRite's June release.  For my card today I used a new background stamp called, Sculpted Leaves.  I stamped it with Versamark and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder.  I wanted it to have an elegant feel. I cut out the center and popped it up using dimensional foam squares. I wanted the it to have a bit of depth.
The sentiment was cut out using a beautiful new die designed by Becca Feekin called Vintage Filigree Layers. The frame and flower are super glittery and were cut from 3 Birds Studio's glitter paper pack.  I added a bit of ribbon, gold cording, stick pins, and a couple of gold leaves to tie it all together.

Be sure to pop around these other ladies' blogs for more fabulous projects!

We are buttoning up the hatches today.....bit storms rolling through Chicago today.
I am quite the scaredy cat......hope it isn't as bad as they are predicting!
Have a great day everyone!

JustRite's January Release-Ribbon & Swags Vintage Labels Seven

I hope you are enjoying this month's release by JustRite!  So many great diverse sets! Today's set was designed by our very own talented Becca Feekin and is called, Ribbon & Swags Vintage Labels Seven. She has such an elegant style that emanates from her images. I used various parts of the set to build my card.
The sentiment was stamped in a Hibiscus pink (Papertrey Ink) and cut out using the coordinating Spellbinder's die, Vintage Labels Seven. I added a touch of soft pink with my Copic airbrush system while leaving the die in place.  I stamped the frame with a blush pink (Papertrey Ink) and cut the frame and squished it closer to fit behind the sentiment.  The image that kind of looks like a doily was stamped in Versamark on my kraft circle and heat embossed in white.
Everything was layered using dimensional foam circles.  You know how this gal loves her lumpy, bumpy cards! )
I added a flower that was created using Spellbinder's Rose Creations.  I gave it a bit of pink using my Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  I added glittery leaves, a satin ribbon, and a few flowers I picked up from Michaels.
Here is the set in its entirety.
And here are the other ladies' blogs........ :)

I will be back again tomorrow with another project!

JustRite's New Release-Elegant Celebrations

Today is JustRite's last day of their new release for December....so we saved the best for last. ;) It is a beautiful set designed by our very own talented Becca Feekin.  The set is called Elegant Celebrations. The fonts in this set are beautiful and I love the sayings.
She has also designed a Spellbinder's die, Heirloom Flourishes, that is elegant and goes beautifully with any project.
Since it is only in the teens here, my thoughts turned to a winter wedding. I chose soft purples and silver.
I used the pretty flourishes stamp to add a bit of purple to the back panel.
The snowflake/sentiment was matted against a Spellbinder's Label's Four die.
