Too Cute by Jessica - $25 Gift Card Regular Priced Patterns

Now here is my project I've created for this party.

For my project I used the Craftin Desert Divas stamp set titled Picture That.  It's a great little stamp set with all kinds of opportunities.  I love the font that was used in creating these stamps because it's not all block letters.

I also used the Graduation file I Did It! by Marjorie Ann Designs for my graduating senior.  Our youngest child graduates in less than a month so this was perfect.

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to
Craftin Desert Divas to see the amazing projects by the design team. Then Craft It Up & Link It UP!! I can't wait to see what you create.

Graduation Announcements

Graduation is upon us and this year my youngest son graduates.  As I typically do when the children don't mind I make their announcements and this year my son even chimed in on the design.  We ended up making two style of cards though because he wanted to invite more people than I had planned for.

With that I give you the 'fancier' cards we made that were sent to his aunts/uncles, grandparents and siblings.

To create this card I used the A2 4step card with cover from the Silhouette Design store - design 58161 - by Lori Whitlock.  For the 2015 numbers I used the true type font Impact.

To create the inside verbiage for the card I created my own version of the step layer in Cricut Design Space using basic shapes.  After I got the sizing down correctly I then added in the needed text, flattened the layers and then used the print 'n cut feature.

The cover of the cards were created using Word and printed through the printer then adhered to the front of the card.

Oh Happy Day

Happy Monday everyone.  Today I have a project to share that can be used for a birthday, graduation, or even the holidays even though it does not have a specific theme to it.  And therein lies the beauty of its versatility.

To create my project I used the Saving Up file from Marjorie Ann Designs and the tube holder box is from SVG Cutting Files (I used only the box portion).  They have many tube holder boxes using both the round and square tubes that you can purchase from Jaded Blossom.

Since my project is themed around money I thought I'd fill my treat tube with money and it fits a quarter in the tube perfectly.  So who wants to guess how many dollars worth of quarters fits nicely in the holder?

And finally, the sentiment on my card is from the Happy Days stamp set by Cardz TV Stamps.

Graduation Announcements

So this weekend I was playing around with this step card I purchased from the Silhouette store.  My idea was to create a congratulations you graduated card but my husband loved it so much that after I had it half way done we started playing around with our son's mock up ideas for his graduation announcement.  Needless to say there will be changes such as adding in the piece for the time, location, etc.  And unfortunately our local scrapbook store has closed shop so I'm not sure I'll be able to get my hands on any more of the NHS Eagle paper.......but I heard there's another location close by to check out so we'll see.

In the meantime, here's where I've got.  The Eagle on the outside of the card is from the Cricut Summer Celebrations.  Instead of using it as a print 'n cut I just place it where I needed to print.  When it comes time to create the "real" card I might use the print 'n cut but I'm not sure.  The eagle on the inside is an SVG that I collected from one of the groups that I belong to.....sorry but I don't remember which one.
The school's colors are black, gold and maroon so I've incorporated all of those in to this card.  Fortunately I have several sheets of this graduation cap paper in my stash because the ones currently on the market just don't do as much justice for this card.

Once I work the final kinks out with my son I'll share the final version.  But until then this is our announcement in the rough......

You Did It!

It's time for another installment in the Cricut Cardz challenge series and our team has some awesome designs to share with you this week.

Of course this challenge came just in time for me because my #4 child graduates from highschool tomorrow evening.  It's amazing how quickly the time flies, but we'll have next year off and then the two years after that our last two will graduate.....

For my card this week I used:

Autumn Celebrations for the stack of books
Create a Critter for the owl
Locker Talk for the graduation cap

My background paper was some that I had left over from the graduation announcements I made last month.  It's from Sandylion and is called graduation caps - clear foil.

And now that you've seen my creation for this week's challenge hop on over to Cardz TV and take a look at all the fun designs our team created to inspire you.  Then create  your own, link up and play along with us.
