Ok as you can see...

the card didn't get made! LOL! Life has been so busy lately. I went to visit hubs while he was in school and did some house hunting at our soon to be new duty station (which was also our old one). It was nice to be able to spend some alone time with hubby as well. We went to see Hall Pass and Unknown both good movies though Hall Pass has a lot more guy humor. Hubby was laughing so hard he was crying. We also got to eat at our favorite places that we've been missing so that was a lot of fun. I hope to get something new up this week but I can't promise. We are getting ready to do our pre move purge.

Just a little behind...

Ok so no card to post. I haven't actually sat down to make one in a couple weeks now. I have one that's in my head and I'll be stamping tomorrow. I promised lil bit that we could stamp tomorrow so be on the look out for my sample we are moving cards.

So it's been awhile...

Life gets crazy and many of my friends know that I lost my grandma last May. She choked during dinner and though everyone tried so hard to save her it was just her time. The last card I made was the mother's day card I had sent her. It took a long time after her passing to pick up a stamp again because every time I thought about inking one up I'd get very sad. It's silly really because she loved my cards but I guess I just needed that time to heal. She saved every one of the cards I made her. I still miss her! Ok that's it for the sadness! I finally made another card (eh it's only been 10 months). I made this one for my mom. Tomorrow is her birthday. I know she'll love it.

Paper: White (GP 110), Green (Bazzill I think)
Stamp: A muse happy birthday, WS Welcome to the Neighborhood (from my friend Stuffie) Thanks!!
Ink: Momento, copics
Accessories: Nesties

Whimsie Doodle Card

Whimsie Doodle was the first digi company I ever bought from. I just love their cute and whimsical stamps. And right now they are celebrating their first birthday with a blog hop full of yumminess and they are having a challenge with a fabulous prize so check them out.

So on to my card! When I saw this challenge I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I used two of the first sets I ever purchased in this card and another one I just bought that I've been eyeing for a long time. I printed them out. I colored and paper pieced most of it. I hope you enjoy!

Stamps: Whimsie Doodles (Fish Tales, Beach Borders, Sunny Day)
Paper: Bazzill, PTI
Access: SU Word Window Punch, copics, glitter pen
