for those who have no clue how to do it


-Step One: Open Steam! (This may seem obvious, but some people launch ARK without Steam.)

-Step Two: At the top of the Steam Page, click "View".

-Step Three: On the "View" list, select "Servers".

-Step Four: A new box opens up! At the top of this new box are several tabs. Click "Favorites".

-Step Five: At the bottom of the "Favorites" tab, there is a button that says "Add a Server". Click it!

-Step Six: A new box will appear! Paste in the exact Server IP you want!

Server 1 the island
IP > 151.80.99.167:27015

Server 2 scorched earth
IP > 151.80.99.167:27058

-Step Seven: Once the correct IP number is pasted in, select the "Add this Adress to Favorites" button on the right hand side.
NOTE: Make sure the server appears in the favorites list after you do step Seven. If not, double check your IP address.

-Step Eight: Launch ARK

-Step Nine: Select "Join Host"

-Step Ten: Select "Favorites"

-Step Eleven: Select the server you just added!


Step One: Launch ARK

Step Two: Select Join Host.

Step Three: Select Unofficial.

Step Four: Type in the name of the server you want to add.

Step Five: Select the server once it appears.

Step Six: Join.


Step One: Add a Friend from the Steam Group.

Step Two: Ask if they are on the server, and if you can join off them.

NOTE: Repeat Steps One and Two if you fail to find a person.

Step Three: Right click the users Steam Name.

Step Four: Select "Join Game".

These are the most common and easiest ways to join the server.

MODS:
A good tip is to pre-download the mods before joining the server for the first time.
All Mods are listed on the main page!

-Mod-Mismatch errors. Reinstall all mods related to the server.
-Make sure your version of ARK is fully updated.
