💎 PREMIUM: Search/label/Copic - Uncensored 2025

I named myself The Crafting Professor, since I'm a crafter, and I'm a college professor. I went through many, many years of graduate school, and the best source of relaxation and stress relief was being in my craft room or going to a local crop. Back then, I never told anyone that I was a full-time graduate student. I was waiting for the day I would scrapbook my graduation page. Now, I run the ScrapbookerPhD challenge blog (http://scrapbookerphd.blogspot.com), and am bringing my passion for crafting and teaching together. But here, at The Crafting Professor, I'm just sharing my work with like-minded crafters from all over the world.

Father's Day

Greeting Crafter's
Here is my blog hop post for CardzTV today.

I wanted to try to come up with something really different for my Father's Day card... I have done mustaches, ties, tools, and more. I found this adorable lizard by CC Designs, and I knew I wanted to use it. I used my Copic markers to color it in.

B000, B00, B02, B04
YG05, YG17, YG99
E23, E25, E29

I cut the lizard using the Spellbinders die cut Nestabilities Labels 23.
I used two Cardz TV stamp sets for the two sentiments: Heavenly and Happy Days.
I added the Spellbinders die cuts Shapeabilities Foliage to the bottom left corner, and finally, a button that is decorated like a tortoise shell.

The plaid paper is from DCWV, The Boyhood Stack.

Best Friends

It's time for another challenge this week at Through the Purple Haze. You don't want to miss out on our sponsor: Bugaboo Digi Stamps:

This month's challenge theme is:
Funny
and we are sponsored by:
For my project, I created a card to send to one of my close friends. I wanted to play around with color, using red and purple and some teal. The background paper really stands out, so I embellished very simply with the ribbon bow and flower.

It's Magical

Onward and Upward in my New Year's Crafting resolution: all about coloring!
I want to be able to apply for certification in coloring through Spectrum Noir and Copics by next year.

Smooth blending is something I have been working on, and even though this cute unicorn is small, I wanted to show smooth blending in the body and the wings, blending a darker color into a lighter color without a hard line.

I just happen to love this entire stamp set called Enchanted by The Alley Way Stamps. I added a little fun lace to the bottom and used a pretty pink patterned paper for the background. The unicorn is covered with glitter from Wink of Stella, although it is hard to see.

Challenges Entered:
DoubleClick Skittles: Animal Challenge
Fab n' Funky: Ribbon/Lace
Fresh Brewed: Animals
Inky Impressions: Cute and Cuddly

It's Wine O'Clock

Project 5 of my Simply Betty Stamps Challenge: Color every image in the Simply Betty Collection. That's over 500 images not including the new releases this year. Want to know the details? Click HERE. Join my blog and cheer me on while I work my way through the Simply Betty Catalog.

For today's project, I was inspired to use Devilish Betty. To me, she looked like she was on her way to a fancy party, where she would be up to no good! I love the pleats in her dress, and used four different reds to add dimension to those pleats. My favorite decision was to make her eyes green.

For coloring, I used the following Copics:
Hair - N2, N4, N6, and a touch of N8.
Skin - E000, E11, E21, R22, R20, E00
Dress and Boots - R22, R29, R46, R59
Green - YG23, YG25

The green border is a Spellbinders Die Cut.
The ribbon is sequenced, but it is hard to tell in the photo.

The sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches, stamp set Free Spirits.
