I wanted to make a Sympathy card for her family, but I find them so difficult. You want them to somehow express how you feel, and they'll always fall short. I ended up trying a couple of designs, but went with the one with the vase of flowers in the end. I suppose that although they are difficult to make, sympathy cards are also a bit of therapy, giving you something to do when you feel so sad and empty.
Anyway, here are the cards I made:

So sorry for your loss, your neighbour sounds a lovely lady. Both designs are beautiful and perfect for Sympathy Cards. I especially like the blue vase one. Love the space on the card, it gives a lovely tranquil feel. I’m sure Ruby’s family will really appreciate this.

So sorry for the loss of your neighbor and friend. Such a difficult thing to lose someone close and you're right the sympathy card is probably one of the most difficult to make, although it can be cathartic for our soul too. Yours is beautiful in it softly mixed blues and sweet flower images. I really like the sentiment . clean and simple in expression.
