Enter August

The month of August is usually very photo-deficient around here. Everything is so hot and dry and the angles of light are so glaring and uninspiring. Life continues unabated, but is not very well documented. Thank goodness for my smart phone, which is now on my person wherever I go, because I'm afraid otherwise, there wouldn't be much to show for the passing of this month.

Just a Few Pics

The quilt that I started creating for my Boy from old jeans in the months before he was born has finally been pulled back out of the closet and will hopefully be finished in time for his move to his big boy bed in a few months.

A new grape arbor/outdoor dining room that Matt is constructing. The grapes will be planted this fall, and in two or three years, we will have a lovely leafy and shaded room for summer entertaining.

Despite the serious expression on his face, He really did love the quad ride with his Daddy!
