Clothesline Therapy
I unfurled my clothesline yesterday. For the first time this season. Which made me really happy.
Clothes smell better when they've been line-dried.
I even enjoyed doing the hot-hot-hot dance in my bare feet in the middle of the day on the scorching deck. Because my feet have been cold since October 28th.
Add in some long shadows and a couple of kids in their bathing suits eating popsicles and well... can't get much more perfect for a day in May.
We actually broke a record yesterday. May 14 has never been so hot, since people started keeping track. I usually hate hot weather, but for some reason... perhaps the chill still holding onto my bones... it felt fantastic.
