lawn Fawn Challenge

The Challenge at Lawn Fawn

is to create a project with fun things in the sky

What is more Fun than Aliens!!

I used the Lawn Fawn Beam Me Up stamp set
as my focal point in the card.

I used glossy accents on the spaceship and the eyes of my critters.

The Tractor beam was a small piece of trimmed Acetate.
I created the beam after I had all the critters done.

I think this sentiment in the set is so cute!

thanks for stopping in !

Papercraft Business Challenge December

 Hello Crafty Friends -

Well it is the beginning of the Holidays,

but this year will not be the same without

all of the Christmas parties and get togethers,

so use your spare crafty time to get cards made &

send them to friends and family members you won't see.

Here is one that is going to a special crafty friend.

I used several different Lawn Fawn stamp sets to complete my card.
The deer & presents are from Toboggan Together,
The birch tree and cardinal are from Joy to the Woods,
The banner is Bannertastic, and the sentiment is from Beary Holiday.

The scalloped border and then the stitched hills dies form the background.
I used the stitched clouds to make a template to make the cloud sky
with Tim Holtz distress ink - you can use almost any blue or
combinations of blue you have.

I love to use foam adhesive to stack and build dimension to the card.                                     Each ground layer is popped up from the last and the scalloped border is popped up from the base.

The stack of presents offer a bright pop of colour in the white winter scene.

The Stamped sentiment didn't seem to pop & it was dry so I couldn't
emboss it, so I very carefully traced over with a red glitter marker.
I wanted to make sure is wasn't dull & boring.
Christmas should be bright and glitzy after all.

All in all I think this cute little card came together so well.

I adore the birch tree stamps - they really do make a plain card pop.

I hope you have time to come buy and share your creations with us at
