3 Page Geli Print Card

Size: 5"w x 6.75"h
One of our Crafty Dozen gals made a card like this and brought it in to show us. She'll be showing some of the gals at the next Wed get together which I won't be at. I only go to P&I for the past while... So thought I'd give it a try on my own. I love the results but left it without words since I have no idea whom to give it to...
It almost reminds me of a baby card...

I used Value Pack blue and some pale pink cardstock and my geli print paper.
The card base is folded with approx 1/2 gutter in the middle for the middle page to fit in and have room for the embellies.
Rounded the corners. Added the pockets for the bookmarks to each page.
Raided my boxes of pre-die cut or electronically cut butterflies and flowers etc. When everything was glued down... I added some mini rhinestones or butterflies made from woven threads.

Pop Up Tunnel - BFlys - Dream On

size closed: 4.5"w x 6.5"h
mechanism: 2.5"w x 4"h (closed)
opens to 2.5"w x 2"h x 2"dp approx with 5 windows plus the door.

Mary one of our Art Of The Fold members showed us a video clip from Kit Davey with this finished structure... no details... I looked at it and said OK... Next thing I new I was creating one with my made up dimensions... as you can see it worked... so I'll show it at our next meet (Feb 2026). raided my Joanna Sheen artwork pads (I have several with different themes...) and cut and spliced.

A circle at the top to keep the mechanism closed.

Basic white card base (9"w x 6.5"h) folded in half, covered with one of my marbled papers from eons ago...

Created the mechanism basic shape 8.5" x 2.5" scored at 2", 4", 6", 8" with a 1/2" end to glue to create the box.

Cut the windows in the main structure before gluing.

For these dimensions cut 3 more widows  2"w x 3"h. Note: the 3" h section is scored 1/2" on either end to glue to the mechanism after windows are cut out.. Glue to basic box. Add images either before or after gluing, I did it after...

Glue half a circle to the card to keep the mechanism closed.

Rotating Spinner Card - Hearts - Happy Birthday

And another spinner card... I think I'm addicted to them... You can see an other one HERE

The mechanism is a the black circle scored to create 24 sections and a 1.25" circle in the center, then 7 sections cut away including the small center circle. Accordion folded both ways to make the mechanism very pliable. (the 1st section will be glued to the card base at the end of construction).

I adhered white squares, then a largish hand cut red heart to each, and then punched out white hearts and then the small punched heart which I added glitter to (some like the heart on the front and some just as an outline of a heart. This was mounted to a gold textured cardstock and then onto my white card base.

On the underside of each white base I wrote out a single letter to read "LOVE U BUNCHES with a glittered heart separating the words.

Art of the Fold - Throw Out Pages - Intuitive Reason

size closed: 6"sqx 3/4"thk
The challenge for our next Art Of The Fold Group (Feb 2026) has us making a "Throw Out Pages Card"
Card base is a basic orangey scrapbook cardstock. I used 2 sheets. The pages made from Staples white cardstock.

Decorations were cut from geli prints as well as Hand made marbled paper, punched with various sized punches both standard and scalloped. Text written with a ZIG Writer in a basic monoline style. I doodled on 4 sections, adding w/c to one series and black in doodles with graphite blending.

Book title hand drawn letters on white cardstock and then fussy cut out.

words: The square is not a subconscious form. It is the creation of intuitive reason. The face of the new art. The square is a living, regal infant. The first step in pure creation in art. Kazimir Malevich

Art Of The Fold - Pop Up Card - From Me To You

The challenge for our next Art Of The Fold Group (Dec 2025) had us making this kind of structure. A bit challenging... I would make my tabs a little shorter.

size closed: 6"w x 7.5"h
The card base was made from a slightly textured 12 x 12 paper and the rest made with various brands of cardstock, the butterflies from gelli prints made on Columbia Mills LBS End paper.

Lettering on the front was done with DecoColor Premium gold pen and then shadow outlined with a ZIG Writer.

Ovals and butterflies punched out. and the inside lettering hand cut from another geli print paper..
