On Genoa Bond Calligraphy paper wrote out the text using various colors of Elegant Writer Calligraphy pens in a Art Deco style. Shadowed each letter with a ZIG Writer.

Since we've been in a heat wave I was doodling outside a la Helen Williams.

Done on Canson Pro Marker paper. Colored with Posca colored pencils. Text written with a blue Metallic Gelly Roll pen.

Deco Rose - B&W - Persian Proverb

I was going thru a bunch of stuff from Helen Williams (I don't know what happened to her but one day she was very active and then nothing...) and felt like playing with her Deco Roses.
size: 5.5"sq
On Genoa Bond Calligraphy paper drew out the roses using  Juice Up pen and a Zig Writer.. Added graphite shadow. Quote done in a serif style monoline.

Coffee Tea Or - Accordion Booklet

I am cleaning out my spill over room... and came across some funky tea cup calendar pages from 2010... and had to play with them...

Size: 5.5"w x 4."h x 1/4" thk. Opens to 44"

I used a beige heavy weight Elephant Hide paper  which creases and folds fabulously. Artwork done on Canson Mixed Media paper using a Juice Up pen for outlining and Peerless watercolors.
The cover is part of the 44" folded over. The title colored with Gelly Roll Metallic pens in every color...
The closure is a 1/2" strip of the same paper adhered to the front only and a small loop to hold it closed.

 

Penny Black - Tulips In Cup - Good Day

I LOVE Penny Black floral stamps but I don't rubber stamp anymore... and I keep meaning to draw/paint them... so this one came into my Instagram feed and caught me at the right moment... I pulled out my Canal w/c Paper and drew out the design. I didn't ink over the lines this time (a rarity for me) but I think it turned out pretty good.
Size card: 5"w x 7"h
I used both Peerless watercolors and Derwent Inktense w/c pencils, and various colors of Juice up pen for the little details.
The words were perfect too so did them in an Art Deco style with a Juice Up pen.
