Art Of The Fold - Spinner Card - From Me To You

The challenge for our next Art Of The Fold Group (Jan 2026) has us making a spinner card and this is my 2nd card...  couldn't resist trying to make one that didn't catch when opening the card and since Valentine's is around the corner... figured hearts was appropriate.
Again I used scraps for the card. Basic white card base, then I glued the red paper to the card base.
I used various punches and dies and did a bit of gold painting on the Spellbinder dies using US ArtQuest Mica Color Metallic set.

I LOVE doing "Shadow Lettering" and did that on this card using both a ZIG Writer or a Gelly Roll white gel pen.

On Canson XL Mixed Media paper drew out my postage stamp. Painted with various brands of w/c and some of the letters with a silver gel pen. Created a scalloped edge master with an edged scissor and then colored the scalloped edge to my stamp with a red ZIG Writer.

Seniors Xmas Cards 2020

 

 

The BVCG usually makes cards for seniors during our annual Xmas party... you guess it - that's shot to smithereens this year... so we were asked to create them at home and then someone would collect them.

I was creating all day yesterday and managed to finish 11 cards - but I wanted an even dozen, so got up this morning and finished the last one. The the rest of the day in photographing and uploading to my website and now my blog. Pheww - I think that was a marathon...

Oct/19 - Side Fold Merry Christmas Bkgrd - Poinsettia Border - The Magic of Christmas

I've been making a lot of stuff for cards both at my gals get togethers and while playing...and that's where they ended and in my "one day" pile of stuff. Well I sat down the other day and finished a whole pile of them. This one uses one of my newer border dies.

I'm using a background stamp from Quietfire Design "Merry Christmas Background"
