⚡ NEW: Gone gargoyle - Complete Album!

Didn't get to do a lot of the things I had in mind, but all things considering I got pretty far. The view cone bugs out from time to time. So I have set the character to just respawn after death and not have the level restart.

About:

You are a gargoyle trapped in a tomb. You can only move when watchers aren’t looking — freeze into stone to hide, dash to strike, and solve ancient puzzles to open the way up to freedom.

Mechanics:

  • Statue State: Toggle into statue form to become immune to watchers’ vision. Statue activation and deactivation have short animations and block other actions.

  • Movement & Attack: Move with the keyboard. Attack to dash/strike in the chosen direction — one-hit kill on enemies.

  • Watchers: Enemies patrol on set routes and have vision cones. If you move within a cone, you crumble. Killed watchers immediately lose their vision cone.

  • Puzzles & Doors: Pressure plates and pillars unlock doors; some doors require multiple puzzles to be solved to proceed upward.

  • Progression: Short levels designed to teach and then combine mechanics; the final rooftop level is the freedom payoff.

Controls:

  • Movement: WASD / Arrow keys
  • Statue Toggle: Spacebar
  • Attack: Left / Right Ctrl
  • Restart Level: R ( coming soon )

Really loved the concept of this game! It reminded me of the weeping angels from Dr Who :D
