It happens. Plaid Hat Games uses the same artist for Crystal Clans and Summoner Wars 2nd edition, and we've seen character art be reused.
Level99 games has also reused chibi art for games that are set in the same IPs.

It is, to varying degrees. Depending on the budget and care you can even end up with slop tier cropped screenshots of the source material games like WS or Godzilla, but especially more niche games or ones just starting out will try to use existing stuff if they can rather than make new one because art costs money and a game needs to turn a profit to live (the exceptions being games that make the new and good art a selling point in marketing, but it's always a calculated risk). Not a TCG but a huge chunk of early Hearthstone art was lifted from the WoW TCG or other existing artwork, and that was a game made by a hugely successful company. Magic can afford to get good* original art for everything because that's what people expect and because they literally print money, but it's a risky move for a newer and smaller game. The need to foot the original art bill was for example probably part of what got Dragoborne shut down, and conversely the fact that art is already there is why most companies would rather port over Japanese games instead of making new ones.
*in the technically proficient sense at least.

Noodling around with another idea for a Lorcana deck. This one is called Streetwise Hercules because it heavily features Hercules - Mighty Leader, and for his ability to work, well, he needs a hero. So yes, the majority of the characters are Heroes, which will be unable to take damage unless they're being challenged. In addition, Goofy will heal and ready most of them (not Hercules), making them hard to challenge, and Rapunzel, along with several characters with support, makes it so every time they can be challenged, they take no damage for each time they were supported. Donald (for ruby only) and Lumiere pump up their power, triggering Elisa's and Li Shang's abilities to gain more lore, and Snow White can waltz around like she owns the place. Next Stop, Olympus lets high powered characters assassinate opposing characters twice per turn for free. Non-damage dealing creature removal can still spoil the fun, of course, but with any luck, the sheer amount of Hero characters should overwhelm them.

It doesn't surprise me much when games based on an existing IP reuse art from that IP (Hearthstone/WoW; Star Wars; LotR; etc...) but it was strange seeing a generic fantasy game use existing art unrelated to any properties. The point of the training was to give her a paradigm outside of Jedi Academy formalized dueling or adjacent to it, which was something her brother actually had.

Nah, xianxia crafting tends to need you to be at least a little powerful yourself if you want to make powerful stuff. You can lower the requirements through enough GENIUS and enough resources but you still need to meet a minimum of strength to not cripple yourself/die just handling the ingredients for whatever you're making.

You say all this, yet everyone who shares your sentiment will never relate anything they say to the mechanics of games, whether it's a game they know, or a game they like.
A person can ask them until they are, symbolically, blue in the face, but they will never give a straight answer in terms of anything that has to do with playing the game. It's always about the setting or story to you people.
You're so militant about calling out other people for supposedly being nogames, yet you avidly refuse to cite anything structurally consistent with your things that could be added to your campaign later maybe if you feel like it. The gameplay aspect is unimportant to people who will cry "nogames" at someone who just wants to discuss games.
You want to listen to your audio books and make your fake voices and claim some sense of importance to games you don't actually possess, you want to pretend you play games to the board about playing games, and you don't want games to be about playing the actual games. You cry that combat is a slog and exploration is bookkeeping, but then scream "PLAY A VIDEO GAME NOGAMES" when people come up with mechanical solutions to the problems you profess.

One of the mechanics of a game is that you don't always have to use mechanics to determine the outcome of the game.

The game itself is a vessel for telling the story. The gameplay is a means to resolve conflict, emphasis on "a", because good roleplaying or planning can completely remove the risk of failure. TTRPGs are entirely unique, and while you say you can't "have your cake and eat it too", that's exactly what separates TTRPGs from video games.

The Gameplay aspect is just another tool to tell the story. You have Skill Checks and combat checks for when the outcome of an action is in question, if the outcome is not in question (meaning guaranteed success OR failure) then they don't need to be rolling checks. Checks rolled without purpose is a waste of time and a misuse of mechanics.

Combat is often a slog, especially when it's just "the gm rolled on a random table, this fight has no stakes and means nothing beyond a way to waste resources because the system is poorly balanced dogshit or the GM can't design encounters for shit". If you want combat to be good, make it matter beyond "I'm draining resources" (not a problem in well-designed systems). If the players are in a fight, it means diplomacy has failed or was never an option, and this foe is a serious threat that is relevant to the current story.

Exploration is very much bookkeeping, and is tedious as hell. It adds nothing of real value unless you're actively making it the core of the game you're running, which is why you don't need as much focus on it. Furthermore, 90% of things related to survival can be handled with a skill check. You don't need 300 pages of rules on how to wipe your ass with a leaf.

If anything, the mechanics in a good system are intertwined with the narrative, and a good GM looks at what abilities the players has and designs encounters to best use those abilities - be it combat or exploration.

TLDR, you're a disingenuous gigafaggot nogames.

Literally nothing stops people from doing the latter. Most just don't because it doesn't suit their circumstances, whether that's because they don't want to go home for said relish or they don't already own relish at home. It's just a matter of convenience vs necessity. Likewise, plenty of D&D newbies that would get a demon kpop hunter splat aren't going to have the system knowledge or patience to just homebrew it themselves, so they'd rather pay someone to sell them a kit to make it easier for them. That's the point of splats and sourcebooks in the first place.
