Description
Images can be optimized a bit further via Optimage ~ running them through manually saved approx 3.4 mb across 247 images.

@bschneidewind Thanks for raising this and creating a PR.
While for some of the smaller icon-like graphics the file size savings are marginal, I could see this being particularly useful for the images bundled in themes.
Would you mind breaking this ticket and the PR into two parts please? One for the images in WordPress Core, and another one for the images in the bundled themes? Since the implications for the two are different and different people should be involved in the decision making, I think the conversations would benefit from that. It could also result in a faster merge, if e.g. one change gets approval very quickly while the one requires more careful assessment.
Optimizes all the png and jpg images and reduces overall size by 3+ MB.
