Your writing is excellent, the timing for humor is impeccable. The characters are what won me over to be honest, they're all different and I don't know, the writing makes them feel very... real, you know? The art is also incredible, congratulations to the artist. The possibility of choosing the protagonist's past and its impact on the story is something very different, and I really enjoyed it. Can someone give me a walkthrough for the Captain please I want to know where to find him so far in the story so I can be put on his route please and thank you
There's no real walkthrough to be given! There's no routes for the different characters if you want to romance them; just spend time with them naturally and you'll discover what they're all about. There are ways to get in real good with some characters much earlier, but they require a lot of specific effort... as they should to get in their pants so fast!
Long story short: there's no romance routes, so take your time and enjoy their company!
Just a little heads up, I ran into an error on Mizz's 'route'. Right after you make the Event choice, where he asks to go back to your quarters to talk, I get an error. I can't say what it was (it's too far back for the scrolling feature to work, and even the History function doesn't go back that far) but thankfully it let me ignore it and continue. I think I might've missed some lines of dialogue because of it, I'm not sure, and scrolling back to before I got it just gets me the same error at the same time when I click forward again.
Just thought you'd want to know! I'm really enjoying Mizz's route so far, I can't wait to see what else happens in the future!

Whether he's that receptive that early depends on a number of factors, but getting any of the spicy content in Void Dreaming at its earliest always requires a much more optimal approach than otherwise. Your choices really so matter here!

I'd firstly like to say I love this VN and all the characters are so wonderfully written. I've been wondering though, are the plans on making a gallery for all the art work? Along with that, maybe a walk through on how to get the pieces? I think may be asking for much, but this is just out of curiosity!

For that scene with Anwill, I'd suggest giving an option in the lock-out romance to go the "no" route that's in the romance path? Like, I wasn't super interested in romancing him, but I also didn't want the reason to turn him down in the moment to be "well, I just don't find you attractive", when really it was like "I absolutely do not want to be taking advantage of your hero complex of me..."
I do want to express gratitude for the option of not pursuing romances though while still building a relationship with the characters!

This game is crazy good, it is very high quality. This game was out of my radar because my normal tags I search for are "Gay" and "Furry", luckily I found it through my recommendations. I get that this game is LGBTQ+, but maybe adding the tag "Gay" could help, especially since Rael can get with some men in this game. Anyways 10/10, can't wait for the rest of it, especially seeing more Zuberi and Bromm!

If that's how you feel, then I heartily suggest you leave Void Dreaming for the moment and enjoy any of the many other wonderful FVNs in the space in the meantime. You can always come back at a later date to see if the story has what you're looking for then.
However, I would like to point out that Void Dreaming has monthly updates on where the project is at, with a focus on transparency with my readers to show them where we're going and what we're doing. So far, I am very proud of the way I have managed to maintain my schedule and accountability to my readers, but I know I can't please everyone and these would likely count for you as more "vague statements" and "empty words" than anything substantive. I'm sorry if I've let you down, but respectfully I don't think there's anything I could do to help that.
Oh don't get me wrong, I still love your story and continue to follow each update, what I said above is just my own feeling when receiving answers without any fixed milestone, you and the game developers can't be sure to give a milestone as the right answer right?
That's why I feel that saying things like "coming soon" is not trustworthy or convincing because the person saying it is not really sure about it, I have experienced too many short-lived games before they could fulfill any promises that were made.

Also, I know how the story is trying to spin Anwill(understandable), but I'll be honest, he's my favorite character 😆, and if he does do something, I hope he can be brought to a better path, so to speak. Also, I just want to say while Rael is actually a name I like, it would be neat if it could be like a default name while creating your backstory, and could keep or change it. I was tempted to make Rael be nameable at the start of the story, but I decided against it because Rael really is his own character. You have a lot of influence over him, but he is who he is and who he is plays a big role in the story. Identity is a pretty key throughline for Void Dreaming, heh.
I could tell pretty quick that this project is special. There is a lot in this VN that appeals to me directly and it has been so exciting to experience the story so far. The worldbuilding is so lovingly crafted, the characters are so uniquely distinctive, and the artwork is so warm and evocative. The commitment to writing for so many different choices and story paths is an astronomical undertaking and I am very grateful for it. I am in awe of the author's tenacity and attention to detail! As a completionist, it has been both challenging and rewarding to reread the story with the different character backgrounds and while making different choices. I am more invested in this narrative then I have been in any other for a long time and cannot wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds! Great job, and all the best for the future!
P.S. On a personal note, the choice of the protagonist's underwear style and continued reference as the narrative unfolds is so exciting for me! It is the most fun of small details that instantly sold me on how meticulous the writing is while being the most engaging! Thank you!!!

I was thinking about suggesting something of a checklist or roadmap tip section to help players along for seeing all of the different outcomes, but I didn't want to impose considering the already massive scale of the project.
It has been a puzzle for me to test out how to unlock different story moments, factoring in Rael's backgrounds, higher/lower skill levels, and character affinity points. Without behind-the-scenes knowledge of how it all fits together it is a challenge, but the journey is very rewarding when I get to see new text (and especially CGs)! When I am excited about a story this engaging I want to experience it all. So, an achievement system could be useful to track progress as well as let readers know that there is still more to see should they make different choices.
I do so love discovering the minor details, underwear related and otherwise! I am ready to be driven crazy in a good way!! :D

The achievement system will come at roughly the same time I have the resources to actually sort out the UI for the project; I know it's in desperate need of some touching up, but that'll have to wait until I have the money to address the issue. I hadn't put any thought into a censored version honestly, but down the road I may well have to do one for that very purpose. While Mizz can't be helped right now, an Ace Rael doesn't engage romantically or sexually with the crew, and this at least eliminates a lot of the stickier issues that might arise with content standards.
Still, something I should probably look into for the future!

Found this novel randomly, and I must say I fell in love with it. All the characters are interesting and lovable, the cyberpunk-ish setting is stellar (props for the slang terms), and the story is very engaging, can't wait for more updates. I also appreciate how innovative it is, with the whole skillcheck and skillpoints system, the "build an MC" thing, and the option to turn off individual romances or becoming ace. Also, finally, an MC that's not a whimpy college twink and is a competent, skilled adult! Well...

Are the event scenes for Caleia and Anwill labeled the same as all the other ones? I've been trying to get them for a while now but I only ever seem to get the two scenes for the first part of relaxation time on day 3. Is that the event or do I need to do something else to get them to ask me to stay for the remainder of the day?
Event scenes become available if you spend some time with a character and find yourself given a choice to stay with them and spend more time; the Event scene is clearly labelled in this instance!
Anwill does try to get your attention at the start of the social time on Day 3, but choosing to go for that or not is your call!

I've heard of this happening on Android systems, and I don't know why; I've not done anything differently! I've been told that a solution, if frustrating, is an uninstall of the old version and then an install of the new one. It may wipe your saves, but skipping through to remake the choices doesn't take as long as you might think!
If it's not on Android, I confess I don't know, sorry!

I certainly agree about Zuberi, but one note, he (the captain) is actually a wolf, like Rael, not a lion. I can certainly see why you made the association, but his fur is too dark and I think at the very start he makes a joke about having another wolf to blame his shedding on
I finally give the game a try and im not dissapointed, every character is amazing, so many different persnoalities and the expressions they have are just great, every character is so well made that you just cant help trying to know them all and their stories, love the beef between caleia and obba, call me crazy but i immediatly got drawn to caleia hope to see more of her in the future, great game, amazing work you are doing here, sorry if my grammar aint great, english is not my main dialect.

Worthy of note for this is that even if it does get up and may be helpful to the situation, it's something worth being cautious of. As I understand it, this is a Republican piece of legislation that's designed among other things to aid in the easy purchase of firearms (and as an Australian the right-wing gun fetishization of America is of far more consequence to me than any sexual fetishes that can be found on Itch). This doesn't make the bill inherently bad, of course; even Republicans are entitled to be correct once in a while.
It does isolate payment providers from ability to stipulate conditions on financial transfers and prevent the kind of bullshit we're seeing from this situation insofar as I know (I'm not an expert on American legislation!) and while the net good may override the typical right-wing ratfuckery that takes place in any good legislation, it's worth going into things with both eyes wide open.

I'd firstly like to say I love this VN and all the characters are so wonderfully written. I've been wondering though, are the plans on making a gallery for all the art work? Along with that, maybe a walk through on how to get the pieces? I think may be asking for much, but this is just out of curiosity!

A gallery is definitely planned eventually; I want to wait until I have a full UI update ready to go before I start messing with those things. Rest assured that a gallery and more are going to be hopefully added in future updates!

For that scene with Anwill, I'd suggest giving an option in the lock-out romance to go the "no" route that's in the romance path? Like, I wasn't super interested in romancing him, but I also didn't want the reason to turn him down in the moment to be "well, I just don't find you attractive", when really it was like "I absolutely do not want to be taking advantage of your hero complex of me..."
I do want to express gratitude for the option of not pursuing romances though while still building a relationship with the characters!

This game is crazy good, it is very high quality. This game was out of my radar because my normal tags I search for are "Gay" and "Furry", luckily I found it through my recommendations. I get that this game is LGBTQ+, but maybe adding the tag "Gay" could help, especially since Rael can get with some men in this game. Anyways 10/10, can't wait for the rest of it, especially seeing more Zuberi and Bromm!

Then I'm sorry you feel tricked or deceived; that was never my intention. If that's how you feel, then I heartily suggest you leave Void Dreaming for the moment and enjoy any of the many other wonderful FVNs in the space in the meantime. You can always come back at a later date to see if the story has what you're looking for then.
However, I would like to point out that Void Dreaming has monthly updates on where the project is at, with a focus on transparency with my readers to show them where we're going and what we're doing. So far, I am very proud of the way I have managed to maintain my schedule and accountability to my readers, but I know I can't please everyone and these would likely count for you as more "vague statements" and "empty words" than anything substantive. I'm sorry if I've let you down, but respectfully I don't think there's anything I could do to help that.
Oh don't get me wrong, I still love your story and continue to follow each update, what I said above is just my own feeling when receiving answers without any fixed milestone, you and the game developers can't be sure to give a milestone as the right answer right?

I just wanted to say I think this is a really cool VN. In fact, I had been putting off making an account, but I just wanted to say good job, I'm really liking the story so far. Also, I know how the story is trying to spin Anwill(understandable), but I'll be honest, he's my favorite character 😆, and if he does do something, I hope he can be brought to a better path, so to speak. Also, I just want to say while Rael is actually a name I like, it would be neat if it could be like a default name while creating your backstory, and could keep or change it. I was tempted to make Rael be nameable at the start of the story, but I decided against it because Rael really is his own character. You have a lot of influence over him, but he is who he is and who he is plays a big role in the story. Identity is a pretty key throughline for Void Dreaming, heh.
I could tell pretty quick that this project is special. There is a lot in this VN that appeals to me directly and it has been so exciting to experience the story so far. The worldbuilding is so lovingly crafted, the characters are so uniquely distinctive, and the artwork is so warm and evocative. The commitment to writing for so many different choices and story paths is an astronomical undertaking and I am very grateful for it. I am in awe of the author's tenacity and attention to detail! As a completionist, it has been both challenging and rewarding to reread the story with the different character backgrounds and while making different choices. I am more invested in this narrative then I have been in any other for a long time and cannot wait to see how the rest of the story unfolds! Great job, and all the best for the future!
P.S. On a personal note, the choice of the protagonist's underwear style and continued reference as the narrative unfolds is so exciting for me! It is the most fun of small details that instantly sold me on how meticulous the writing is while being the most engaging!

Thank you for your reply as well! I love the idea of an achievement system to track which and/or how many major milestones have been hit for specific character moments! I was thinking about suggesting something of a checklist or roadmap tip section to help players along for seeing all of the different outcomes, but I didn't want to impose considering the already massive scale of the project.
It has been a puzzle for me to test out how to unlock different story moments, factoring in Rael's backgrounds, higher/lower skill levels, and character affinity points. Without behind-the-scenes knowledge of how it all fits together it is a challenge, but the journey is very rewarding when I get to see new text (and especially CGs)! When I am excited about a story this engaging I want to experience it all. So, an achievement system could be useful to track progress as well as let readers know that there is still more to see should they make different choices.
I do so love discovering the minor details, underwear related and otherwise! I am ready to be driven crazy in a good way!! :D

This vn is fantastic. I adore all the characters especially Mizz, and I'm very happy with my Rael (Spacer, Drop-out, ex-pirate). I do hope the underwear preference choice I made (briefs) will actually be relevant someday lol.

I hadn't put any thought into a censored version honestly, but down the road I may well have to do one for that very purpose. While Mizz can't be helped right now, an Ace Rael doesn't engage romantically or sexually with the crew, and this at least eliminates a lot of the stickier issues that might arise with content standards.
Still, something I should probably look into for the future!

Found this novel randomly, and I must say I fell in love with it. All the characters are interesting and lovable, the cyberpunk-ish setting is stellar (props for the slang terms), and the story is very engaging, can't wait for more updates. I also appreciate how innovative it is, with the whole skillcheck and skillpoints system, the "build an MC" thing, and the option to turn off individual romances or becoming ace. Also, finally, an MC that's not a whimpy college twink and is a competent, skilled adult! Well...

Are the event scenes for Caleia and Anwill labeled the same as all the other ones? I've been trying to get them for a while now but I only ever seem to get the two scenes for the first part of relaxation time on day 3. Is that the event or do I need to do something else to get them to ask me to stay for the remainder of the day?
Event scenes become available if you spend some time with a character and find yourself given a choice to stay with them and spend more time; the Event scene is clearly labelled in this instance!
Anwill does try to get your attention at the start of the social time on Day 3, but choosing to go for that or not is your call!
Guess I'll have to try and ingratiate my Rael to them more then, thanks for the quick reply. On a separate note i'm loving how the story is panning out so far definitely excited to see more.

I've heard of this happening on Android systems, and I don't know why; I've not done anything differently! I've been told that a solution, if frustrating, is an uninstall of the old version and then an install of the new one. It may wipe your saves, but skipping through to remake the choices doesn't take as long as you might think!
If it's not on Android, I confess I don't know, sorry!

I'm just going to say their species because it's easier than saying their names so far the two characters I I like our the captain which is the lion and the chief medical officer the bear
I certainly agree about Zuberi, but one note, he (the captain) is actually a wolf, like Rael, not a lion. I can certainly see why you made the association, but his fur is too dark and I think at the very start he makes a joke about having another wolf to blame his shedding on

Worthy of note for this is that even if it does get up and may be helpful to the situation, it's something worth being cautious of. As I understand it, this is a Republican piece of legislation that's designed among other things to aid in the easy purchase of firearms (and as an Australian the right-wing gun fetishization of America is of far more consequence to me than any sexual fetishes that can be found on Itch). This doesn't make the bill inherently bad, of course; even Republicans are entitled to be correct once in a while.
It does isolate payment providers from ability to stipulate conditions on financial transfers and prevent the kind of bullshit we're seeing from this situation insofar as I know (I'm not an expert on American legislation!) and while the net good may override the typical right-wing ratfuckery that takes place in any good legislation, it's worth going into things with both eyes wide open.
