What Witches Do All Day: A Solo Journaling RPG
A downloadable game
Cozy and contemplative, this solo journaling RPG requires only a deck of cards to play. You'll choose one card to represent you, assign keywords to the rest of the cards, and draw a few at a time to spark evocative journaling prompts. And that's it! You're free to choose the time period and setting, tone and mood, how magic(k)al your witch's life is, and more.
This game was originally made for the Rider-Waiteless Oracle Jam and meant to be played with the Literary Witches Oracle Deck by Taisia Kitaiskaia and Katy Horan. I then found the One-Page RPG Jam 2025 and decided to make a "vanilla" version that works with any deck of oracle cards (or even playing cards if you're into cartomancy!). The "vanilla" version is also available as a zine.
I love feedback—please consider leaving a review! ๐
And if you like this game, check out my other witchy game, WITCH!

I did the math, If you use a 78 card Tarot Deck and assign each card (except for the calling card of course) 4 keywords, that deck has over 47,000 unique combinations! That just blows my mind, you can probably play with the same deck for the rest of your life and rarely get a repeat result, and even if you do, there's probably countless different ways to interpret any given one!
๐คฏ WILD. Thank you for doing the math, and thank you for taking the time to check out my lil game. I appreciate it! ๐ฅฐ
