Dronelord Hyperviber
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
A fast paced bullet heaven FPS played with just the mouse where your speed is your fire rate.
Complete a reconnaissance mission for the Hypervibers fighting against inhuman hordes in the Dronelord's Domain
Accelerate, glide and drift across 4 procedurally generated zones. Ramp off hills, dunes, volcanoes and metallic surfaces to fly through the air raining down bullets from above.
Story
In a distant future in a distant place there lived a man who ran a simple delivery business. One day he decided to amass a fleet of drones to make the job easier for himself and lower his operating costs. As he amassed drones he became more isolated, never traveling far from his warehouse, anything he needed he could deliver to himself. Over time he grew to see his automatons as companions, then friends and finally equals. He'd begun manufacturing them himself, learning abut robotics and even cybernetics until one day he took the plunge turning himself into a cyborg, losing sight of his initial motivations in the process and yearning only to cover the surface of the planet in as many of his friends as possible. Humans no longer mattered to him and so his drones were fitted with mechanisms to erase them from existence.
Cyborgs weren't uncommon in this time and place and as the Dronelord's horde grew as small resistance force of augmented humans grew. They were more selective than the Dronelord choosing to optimise their bodies instead of replacing the vital parts that made them human. They installed cyberchips in a special interface port they had designed and created a wireless connection to the hoverboards that were the common mode of transport. When the Dronelord began to attack humans these cyborgs known as Hypervibers entered the lands around his warehouse. Most regions had been bled dry, left barren, covered in metal plating or exposed wastes of lava where mining processes had weakened the planets crust. Few areas had grass and even those had no other life.
You are a Hyperviber sent on a reconnaissance mission to scout new zones in this area. Your friends will drop Crates in each zone you visit containing supplies, fight back the horde of drones as best you can and upgrade your cyberchips and weapon systems to survive 24 minutes across 3 zones and get extracted to inform the rest of the Hypervibers what you're up against.

What a great twist on the formula, loved learning the movement!
I will not be releasing an update to this game through a different account and linking it in these comments, do not click through any links posted here claiming to have an updated build of the game.
I have had to delete like 6 different messages here claiming to offer an update d version in the last few days so I decided to be safe I would make this post.
This game is so pawsome!
This was really fun, I love the surfing movement and how it's tied directly to your attacks. I'd be really psyched to see this get an update (new enemies? bosses? new weapons? new movement abilities?). I'd absolutely play it again
