🔒 EXCLUSIVE: Phase double - High Quality

***- POWER ON WITH SWITCH TOP RIGHT -***

PHASE DOUBLE – CLOSE ENCOUNTERS

Two starfighters in parallel universes, inextricably linked through quantum entanglement.

Every command echoes across realities as both ships respond to the same input stream. Guide your dual-screen pair, fire coordinated laser bursts, and brace against escalating alien assaults—scouts, homing trackers, warp-dash strikers, and triple-shot constructs pressing both timelines at once.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING — Activate the risk toggle for 2× score, but remember:

One hit anywhere = total annihilation across both universes.

A tight dual-screen micro-shmup delivered as a single self-contained HTML file—open your browser and play instantly. Mobile-ready, keyboard-first.

Controls

Movement (D-pad): Arrow Keys / WASD

• Smooth analog-lerp movement applied to both ships simultaneously

Fire (A/B): Spacebar / Enter

• Ship A fires upward

• Ship B fires upward on Normal, upward/downward (inverted) on Hard

Phase (L/R toggle): Shift

• 2.5s invulnerability with a visual dim

Menu / Start / Select: Enter / Esc

Touch / Mouse: Fully supported (tap/drag/fire)

HARD MODE – Inverted Parallel-Universe Chaos

Hard Mode warps the B-universe into a flipped, mirrored counterpart. The bottom ship turns upside-down and interprets your inputs in reverse—shared controls now fight themselves across timelines. Perfect for Aliens² waves where one reality literally runs backwards.

Normal vs Hard Mode

Aspect

Normal Mode

Hard Mode

Player B Orientation

Points UP

Points DOWN (sprite flipped)

Movement

Down = down on both screens

A: Down = downB: Down = UP (reversed)

Firing

Both fire UP

Enemy Bullets (Screen B)

Move DOWN

Move UP toward Player B

Play Feel

Synced teamwork

Mirrored chaos—inputs pull ships apart

Access

Menu → Settings → HARD

(Stacks with DOUBLE for ultra-risk runs.)

Why It’s Brutal

  • Moving to dodge on one screen often throws the other into danger.
  • Inverted B-world bullets punish hesitation.
  • Phase-dodge timing becomes critical as patterns desync visually.
  • Waves escalate regardless—you’re juggling two universes under pressure.

Pro Tip

Master Normal first.

Then chase true glory with HARD + DOUBLE:

2× points, 0× mercy.

Quantum-linked pilots. One universe inverted. Pure replayable hell. 🚀

This is a really cool concept! The DS like ui is also pretty cool, but I feel like its impossible to pay attention to both screens at once, maybe if the ships were somehow closer together it would be easier but I just found it unintuitive unfortunately.

thanks for the feedback and play. I will agree that it isn’t easy, but this is old school arcade hard. It’s difficult for sure, but it is never ending so it’s about getting as far as you can with the highest score… a quick play just now netted me a 8800 score!

That makes sense, cool :)

I like the concept!

Thank you so much!
