Hello, I'm considering buying this game on Steam.
The 18+ DLC is on Patreon, and the tier for it says "DLC access (during active subscription)" does that mean that I would lose access to the DLC if my subscription expires?

Once you’re an active patron you will get the download link for the dlc which u can access while ur being an active member, if for some reason you didn’t download the file during that time or lost the downloaded file etc u can pm me or such
Basically the posts themselves (art, beta linkd, etc) r accessible during an active subscription

Hi! I recently bought the game on steam and encountered the bug that is mentioned here already where the event to cure thane doesn't trigger after creating the cure.
My game doesn't need to be updated so I was wondering if the fix for that in the steam version is still in the works?

I saw that it's now only available on Patreon, but when I went to Patreon, the top post is a locked post titled "Probably My Last" -- does it mean that you'll no longer be using Patreon anymore? I don't really want to pay just to read a post that you're leaving, sorry. ^^; Thanks for the info!

my patreon is on a break until December 5th. So if u want more bang for ur buck its best to become a patron after that date if ur still interested, unless you just want to see past content ^ ^

if you download the dlc from patreon, yes
The dlc was never on sale on steam but you could still plug it into the game regardless, so long as you had access to your steam games folder on ur pc

That's helpful! Just to add - the campus store refreshes its inventory periodically, so if you don't see quality ink right away, check back after completing a few quests. Sometimes doing errands for NPCs also rewards you with crafting materials!

I saw your game is back for sale on steam and now your harlots dlc is missing, you say it got caught in the r18 ban? except you can still sell r18 content here. It's a soft ban and visa/mastercard still payout for adult content.
I don't understand why you're making people go to your patreon and spend $15USD for it instead - which costs more than the game does right now. So if we lose access to the DLC and want it back, people have to pay AGAIN to resub to your patreon.
I had the same issue when I felt you were funneling people off steam to patreon during the downtime, and now it's back I'm sadly disappointed and no longer want to buy your game. After your tax mishap and revoking keys 4 months ago, I thought you would be more considerate for how you distrubuted your games.
last i still had harlots on sale, it cost a significant (45 days) delay in my fee transfer to my paypal n hides my page on itch in general, so rather than cause issues with that it was safer for me to restrict it (its transferred normally at about a week now)
Tbh i hope people don’t go to my patreon just to buy the dlc, its more for beta access and other perks rather than the dlc . If someone lose access somehow, the page itself should still accessible to those who have bought it in itch prior to the ban. It’s only inaccessible to new buyers but previous owners can access it just fine. If they got it from patreon n lost it they can just contact me via email or discord directly
but I definitely understand ur lack of faith on my end. I did gave out replacement keys to those I accidentally revoked, tho I understand if the trust is already broken by then. The key lost issue was entirely stupidity on my end and I do admit I am not the best in actually selling my game as I did this more as a hobby than anything and choose whatever cause the less hassle for me with my government law and taxes. Since i already got in trouble with taxes n payment transfer and such this is what I choose to mitigate that, until itch and paypal is more clear on this nsfw stance. I did end up buying your game anyway because I was toying with the idea too much. I understand why you do what you do, I'm not that strung up about it but I felt like it needs to be known it's quite an inconvienance. Especially for new buyers like myself. Nobody likes being told to go somewhere else.
Like why is it paywalled at such a steep price on Patreon. Your previous comments under me 11days ago said $15. Obviously you want support as a developer for your future projects etc, which is why you have your exclusives over there, but this is DLC for here. Are you considering making it more accessible?
thank u for ur understanding and support but genuinely its okay if u prefer to spend ur money elsewhere as ur criticism is very valid. Tho just want to clarify, 15usd is the price of the tier itself, not the dlc price btw. It’s just that the dlc is included in that tier way before any of this because it was posted there before public release and I don’t delete past posts. The tier grants access to patreon only art, beta access and basically the future sequel for free when it comes out. 15 usd is not the sole price of the dlc but the benefits of the rest of the perks I listed. It wasn’t supposed to be the only way to get the dlc but yeah shit happened.
I did try to put the dlc in patreon shop for a few days but that was an issue as well and some buyers said the purchase didn’t pull through, so I stopped that. I think that because patreon shop is still experimental to those with mature content (even if its fantasy and 2d) but unsure. Or it only allows non mature content for sale on shop. So basically right now I am honestly at my own wits end with it and sometimes just think to delete it but that would be unfair to those who bought it already so yeah…
It’s an inconvenience for both parties tbh and again I get my actions seems impractical but I just don’t see any viable options to sell that dlc as is yet. That said, I do want emphasize to not support or buy that tier just for the dlc, that is not the goal of it and please prioritize urselves.

it is no longer available on steam or itch but it is a previous post in my patreon in the 15 usd tier. Unfortunately this is the best way I can have it around for now with the weird situation with payment processors

Hi! Is the itch.io July bug fix also available on the Steam version of the game? If not, is it planned now that the game is back on Steam? 👀
It is planned but probably later in late November/December. this is due to the bug itself is not game breaking (Thane's curing event can still trigger) and for some reason the fix causes more issues for the steam version during beta testing than just leaving it be. So gonna work on that later.
Plus I do not trust steam currently so I'm still waiting on if my money will be sent at the end of September or not to have a continued partnership with them

about ivar and seth endings..how can u freeze the both of them without lo's rune? the guide says if i have ice potion which i do (2 of them) and i still can only freeze one. then when i try to tell fia to put ivar first she rejects it. really trying to get these endings ( seths and ivars)
u cannot freeze them both without the ice rune, as stated in the guide, u need the ice rune to freeze them both. but you can freeze them seperately with the ice potion and help seth for his ending they both will trigger his ending one way or another, seth has 2 ending varieties
Ivar’s ending is the easiest to trigger so long as you chose truth and do not complete the diary quest or kiss him, wether Fia accepts your request to put Ivar first or not as long as u do those 2 prequisites, his ending should trigger

I really love BS, thank you so much for your amazing work! I can't wait to find out what happens next, but I'm a little confused. If I've understood correctly, the DLC originally planned won't be a DLC but rather a sequel? With different MCs, still in the BS universe but after the events of BS? If so, is it possible to know the potential LIs? Or have a little summary (spoiler-free obviously) of the story? Of course if you were planning to communicate about this later, sorry and feel free to ignore my questions haha. ^^

the sequel is set in the same world and the aftermath of the first game (the consequences of our actions basically lol)
i plan to release details later in August as I setting some things up for the reveal of characters and basically I am in recovery after injuring myself for making 30+ CGs for the demo lol. But yeah after I recover and hopefully the game scrne is also less gloomy I will probably post sneak peeks of bachelors etc in mid August

I finished playing the DLC awhile back and just had a quick question I don't know if its already been answered but me and my bestie are playing the game together on our own devices but chose different MC's. I was just wondering if their stories would line up throughout the game if we were to make similar decisions whether it is dialogue choices, love interests, or just in general? Because we realized that the MC's introductions were different in the beginning and would just like to know if we should just play the same character to get the same experience! the story will line up only the intro and some events vary but overall they have the same plot if you guys chose the same story choices

Alright so i love the game so so much! I only went through Arshems route but after im done playing i have the need to play it again. There were some parts which i didnt really like. The part where Thane bonded with mc's sister made me have mixed feeligs since thane was one of the love insterests even if we didnt go through his route so it was just weird that he bonded with someone else. Also arshem being mad at the mc from future but not mad at the mc from present once he woke up was also pretty weird. Still it was a great story thank you for creating something so great!
Hi, I've been loving the game so much!
I'm struggling to figure out how to cure Thane.
I declined visiting Fia with him since doing so leads to me not being able to get the recipe. I instead got the recipe on 31/5 from the courtyard, crafted it right away. But, I have no option to cure him. Is he somewhere in the premises where I can do so? If I let it move onto the next day, he and Fia have already bonded.
I'm a bit lost, could you help me clear up why this is happening?

I think I coded this weirdly so that the cure cutscene (right after you craft the potion) doesn't trigger unless you chose to escort Thane to Fia. It has been fixed in the most recent update. Please update your game by redownloading the game files and thanks for pointing that out with the dates, helped a lot in me discovering the issue!

ah so you bought the game from steam? If so wait awhile I suppose. i plan to be back on steam in august or so since I just got my taxes in order. I had to wait for a court ruling to update my apssport n it just got done last friday. Will update later on steam but yeah wait a while until then.
Updating on itch doesn’t effect ur save but you just have to move the folder contents

Hii! So I downloaded the game like a few fays ago and I made the potion and not scene and I couldn't cure him and he bonded with Fia. He was nowhere on the map either. So frustrating.
Please forgive my terrible English! I definitely don't speak the language and can only partially read it, so I'm using Google Translate—which, let's be honest, isn't the most accurate. Still, I couldn't just ignore this and not leave a comment here.
I downloaded the game earlier this week, and I found a way to translate it into my language because I’m planning to create a visual novel in the future, and I wanted to see what was possible with Ren'Py. Plus, the game looked really promising.
What I didn't expect was to get completely hooked on my first playthrough and spend the entire night playing without even noticing the sun had come up.
THE GAME IS AMAZING!!!
I don’t even have words to describe how much I fell in love with it—the art, the story, the characters, the plot development, the gameplay mechanics, everything. The whole game is just perfect.
I couldn’t stop playing, and by the end I almost wanted to cry because I simply wanted more of it. I even felt kind of empty when it was finally over.

do not complete Palmier’s diary quest and when inserting the gem put in Ivars first

I really LOVE Bewitching Sinners so, so much!! I generally don’t have the attention span to quickly finish everything in an otome. BUT Bewitching Sinners had me in a tight chokehold, that I did everything in the game! Got all endings, did all quests, and romanced all the bachelors, all in 2 weeks (if I didn’t have to work I’m sure I would have finished everything sooner. 😎) Out of the quartet, Arshem and Lyall are my favorites. I really enjoyed romancing them both. Though, I have to say Ivar, this man has me in a chokehold, I LOVE him so much and want to protect him! 💖 I’m excited to see there will be a sequel in which we can romance Ivar, you best believe I will be RUNNING to romance him! All in all, thank you for creating BS, after a long day at work BS helped me delve into escapism and immerse myself in a new world. And for that I’m truly grateful! 🥰
Have you thought about making an android version? I just bought it and I'm having a bit of trouble running it on joiplay it keeps kicking me before the game can load, it works with the demo version before but not the download from the one I bought, is there a reason or am I doing something wrong?😔

just bought the game (and dlc!!!!) and i’m in LOVE. quill is exactly My Type and i have SUCH a soft spot for lyall already too, plus the other two boys are so fun!!! im barely a few hours in and the game is already so interesting and enjoyable and i can’t wait to play more. i do have one question… how is the mc’s name pronounced? i’ve called him as “palm-ee-ay” (ay as in ray or bay) in my head but at first i pronounced the name “palm-ee-er” so im wondering if i was right the first time. im notoriously bad at figuring out how to pronounce names orz. i mean, either way i get to tease quill until he’s bright red and ready to slap me with his glove like a victorian gentleman so im happy hehe :D excellent game, the world building (and illustration) is gorgeous and the characters are outstanding both in looks and writing. thanks so much!!! <3
