I never would've guessed this was your first zine! It's so informative.

That said, would you please explain what "robe" means?

Thanks!

Oh thank you very much!

I am so sorry if "robe" isn't the correct word in English (which isn't my first language) and if I made it confusing. I will check it out and correct the zine, so thank you for pointing it out!

In this context, I meant "robe" as in "the colour of the liquid in the cup". So black tea has this rich, red-brown colour, while green tea might have a clearer, yellow-ish or green-ish colour.

I've been a tea fan for many years, and even I learned new things from this zine! So cool. I always thought it was enough to just boil the water, not knowing it could work better if it got hotter! Exciting stuff, I'll try some things out!

Less hot! Less hot than boiling water! I'm sorry if I made this unclear, but the temperatures I gave should be all way below boiling water (which is at 100°C and 212°F afaik). The only time when I recommend boiling the plant is when making tea from plants you've gathered yourself, but that's for another zine.

Oh right it's early and the brain fog, lmao. But yeah, that makes sense and I'll try to be more patient.

I do have a "tea" I make frome licorice and ginger roots for my tummy troubles that has to boil for 5 minutes before the steeping process!

Yes! That's true, there are such cases, usually when involving roots. Also that sounds super yummy!

It is! You add some allspice, mint, and honey too, and it's tasty and it really helps!

I had a cup of tea before reading this zine. Very informative! I love resources that talk about different temperatures for teas and how to drink them (such as with milk or without). I'm definitely a fan of black tea and herbal tea (my cup was herbal tea just now). I love the aesthetic of this zine and it's very easy to read yet fun too - the voice of the zine is lighthearted yet inclusive and informative. I can't wait to see more! I would read a zine on making my own tea from my garden

Oh thank you, thank you so much! I'm glad you had such a lovely experience reading the zine. Lighthearted yet inclusive and informative was exactly what I was going for!

I might actually make a zine on making one's own tea from one's garden, since I do this regularly... and there are quite a few ways you can go from "plant in the ground" to "delicious tea in cup". That's a great idea, thank you!
