François Gérin-Lajoie, a Canadian composer based in Ottawa, Ontario, composes music inspired by video games like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Zelda. Aside from publishing his original music on his YouTube channel, François has composed music for indie video games and has produced several albums. Growing up, he learned piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum. He is currently taking classical guitar lessons and often performs in front of friends, family and peers. During the day, François teaches music to children ages 5 to 12 in an elementary school.
