How to play:

I recommend only reading this once you have played once and are very confused :).

Use your mouse to aim and click (or hold click) to bite. Your health drains over time. Eat Things to gain back health, and also gain xp, strength points and growth points.

XP helps you level up and gain more Powers and Perks.

Strength Points increase your damage for all attacks.

Growth points increase your size.

After seven minutes Totality arrives. Until then, once a minute you must select larger and larger things to summon to your void. Some things will provide more points to growth or strength, you can see this in the selection screen when choosing what to summon.

Survive until Totality arrives, then use all your strength to destroy it before your health runs out!

Majority of assets created during the jam, I reused and/or adapted some code and sounds from past jams, most notably:  Menu system, splash screen.

Finally reached TOTALITY after some trial+error. Fun concept that could really scale out as much as your imagination allows. Polish and aesthetics are top-notch. Reminds me of those idle tower defence mobile games where you just upgrade and watch and nothing else; but then adding in player control via movement and munching adds an extra layer of skill which I think makes it stand out from those types of games.

Really enjoyable! The objects are very entertaining and I like seeing number go up. I did my best but totality got the better of me... maybe next universe
