SEUCK Title Screen Maker V2.0 [Commodore 64]
A downloadable tool
The New Dimension is very proud to present to you the SEUCK Title Screen Maker V2.0. A very useful C64 tool which makes more presentable front ends with music and link them to your very own standalone games, created with any version of the Shoot Em Up Construction Kit or Sideways Scrolling SEUCK. As a bonus - you do not need to code anything. Although it may be useful to own a freeze frame cartridge such as the Action Replay / Retro Replay, Super Snapshot or similar.
Transform something basic like this:

The S.E.U.C.K Title screen maker consists of the following features:
- Easy to handle editor (no coding required).
- Create your own front end credits page
- Create your own optional hi score table and flashing colour table
- Write your own scrolltext and edit the scroll colour table
- Create your own single line get ready and game over messages
- Create your own end screen
- Supports KoalaPaint multicolour/OCP Art Studio hi res logos (Dimensions: width of 40 chars x height of 8 chars)
- Supports 1x1, 1x2 or 2x1 character sets (hires, multicolour, animated).
- Music Support
+ Supports separate title music and in game music files (Title music relocated at $8000, In game music relocated at $9000)
+Also supports large music with assignable sub tunes (multi-tracks) (Load as title music at $8000 which can expand to $9fff)
After relocation many common music players such as JCH Newplayer, Demo Music Creator (DMC), Goat Tracker, SidWizard, Sid Duzz It, etc are supported. However, Deflemask is not supported due to its size in memory. - NEW - A new submenu added in the preferences menu subject to fixing the speed and colour of the title screen and game colour and animation settings. Select colour of the game sideborder and the background colour of the main title screen. Speed up or slow down the flashing of the the hi score text, including get ready and game over text. Also Speed up or slowdown the title screen animation.
- NEW - Player and enemy and Sideways SEUCK settings:
+ Spawn player at death position: Places the player on exactly the same position it last died from. Very useful for push scrolling games in order to prevent the player from appearing on a deadly/stoppable background character. Which prevents the player moving further into the game.
+ Loop enemy movement: Repeat the enemy movement from the last position it was stored to.
+ Choice of rotational firing or random firing on all enemies that are selected to fire at random.
+ Smart bomb mode: Explodes all the enemies on screen in one go. Useful for end of level boss stages or collectibles which can trigger this instantly. Also includes background colour editing.
+ Fix Sideways SEUCK Flicker: Where Sideways SEUCK flickers like hell (unless a POKE fix is added), this option will install a fix to the background flicker to make it more stable. - Three spare subroutines for calling adding additional in game enhancements
- NEW: You can now link your finished title screen directly onto your finished SEUCK/Sideways SEUCK game from the disk menu. (Your game must be saved as a finished game from "save as finished game" in the SEUCK menu).
- Additional enhancement code snippets (From V1.8+, which requires Turbo Assembler or Turbo Macro Pro and code snippets require modifying to work with Version 2.0)
- Complete PDF user manual and enhancement code snippets manual included
- Exclusive game, CETI 22 and bonus game Stormbird

Nice, but please add tag "Commodore 64" in "More information", otherwise people searching with the "Commodore 64" filter will not see this page!
Consider it done :)
Eariler on, I was asked if it is possible to be able to load in existing text and colour assets from title screens that were made with version 1.5/V1.5+ of the SEUCK Title Screen Maker. I can confirm that it is possible. However you will need either an Action Replay / Retro Replay cartridge or a Machine Code Monitor.
HINT:
To save existing text from Version 1.5/V1.5+ use:
S "TEXTANDCOLOUR",8,7160,7660
S "SCROLLTEXT",8,AA00,ACC0
To load existing text (Credits + colour and scroll text) from version 1.5/1.5+ use:
L "TEXTANDCOLOUR",8,728A
L "SCROLLTEXT",8,AA00
If using VICE, use:
S "TEXTANDCOLOUR" 1 7160 7669
S "SCROLLTEXT" 1 AA00 ACC0
L "TEXTANDCOLOUR" 1 728A
