Hi. I am, I guess, an old timer, so I am used to all kinds of grind. So let's talk about this game. I am a big fan of KINGDOM, so this game looks similar, and feels a bit similar, so I guess I should like it, but I am frustrated by it. First, I have a disdain for strategy, so I've put the Difficulty at 3xskulls, and hired 10 archers that follow me everywhere. Hi folks, it's patch day!

The update 2.0.22[sov-game.com] introduces new tactical options such as bear traps, and also adds the Pathfinder Totem, which allows requested units to be teleported directly to your location. We also improved several quality-of-life aspects, including faster and clearer aiming UI, better restocking behavior, and disabling the dog companion by default. In addition, multiple controller-related menu navigation issues have been fixed to make gameplay smoother and more consistent.

New Content

Bear trap added to blacksmith building
Pathfinder Totem building teleports arriving units directly to the hero’s location

Improvements

The dog companion is now disabled by default
The projectile launch arrow UI appears faster, and the launch speed starts at the beginning for improved targeting
The tar barrel now explodes upon contact with ground fire
Restocking equipment is now also possible for restoring health

Bug Fixes

Menu navigation skipped the ‘End Raid’ button
Fixed an issue where focus switched to the Buy button after selling units in the unit overview
Combat Blacksmith no longer gets skipped in the unit overview when using a controller

Patch 17: New Content, Balancing, and Bug Fixes

Hi folks, it's patch day!

With update v2.0.21 [sov-game.com]we’re expanding the base-building side of the game with the introduction of the Blacksmith building. Alongside it come several new build options, including simple and advanced barricades as well as tar barrels, giving you more defensive tools and tactical flexibility when shaping your fortress.

In addition, player-controlled units have been strengthened across the board. Thorald’s arrow damage has been increased for both normal and fire arrows, alongside general damage and health points to your units.

Tar barrel for blacksmith building
Simple barricade for blacksmith building

Balancing

Increasing Thoralds Arrow damage (normal and fire)
Thorald: Increased damage
