The third map is a nightmare

Climbing up that tower at the end of the second level was already taxing, but the platforming in the third level made me just want to uninstall this game and never look at it again. For the love of god at least place the checkpoints closer to those platforming segments, specifically the ones leading to the Planarium. edit: here is another idea, instead of dying when falling into the bottomless abyss, why not teleport the player character to the beginning of the platforming segment again? Would ease a lot ...

Light and Darkness Update - Out Now!

Greetings intrepid adventurers into the underworld and overworld of Arloria!

Today we are pleased to present the Light and Darkness Update for Mythrealm. The update is named thus because the players can now explore the sunlit city of Brighthelm and the shadowy depths of the Cultist Dungeon, and much more!

This is the first major update to Mythrealm since Early Access, as our small team works to advance the game in Early Access and work towards Full Release in Q4 2026. The update includes lots more content, 2 new large game levels, new items, monsters, general gameplay improvements and bug fixes!

Content:

Players can now explore the city of Brighthelm, a large friendly (mostly) fantasy city that acts as the main player hub and with many fun things to do and discover!
A new dark and dangerous dungeon: The Dungeon of the Cult can now be accessed via Brighthelm.
The Red Lion Tavern in Brighthelm has been added. The player can rent their own room in the Tavern!
A new friendly Gryphon NPC Character may be found in Brighthelm and a Dark Cult Priestess may be bartered with in the Cult's dungeon.
3 New Armour Sets have been added to the game: Lyrain's Vambraces, Dark Ritualist Robes, and Assassins Armour.
A new boss The Demon Warlord may be faught in the Dungeon of the Cult.
4 new Demonic enemy types.
Orcs and Lizard Men have new updated Sound Effects.

Game Mechanics:

The Arcane Attributes requirement for Magic Wands, Mana Potions and Mana Jewels has been removed. All players can now use Magic Wands, even if they haven't trained Arcane.
All Special Skills now cost Mana. Previously only Arcane Skills cost Mana. But to balance the usage of Arcane with Might and Agility skills, now all special abilities cost Mana.
The Maps Menu has been added to the game. So that any Maps discovered can be re-viewed with the Maps Menu.
The Lore Menu has been added to the game. All found Lore Scrolls can now be re-viewed in the Lore Menu.
The player character Rolling mechanics have been significantly upgraded. In Combat mode the player can now Roll backwards and directionally, without changing facing direction.
A new landing animation has been added for high falls / hard landings.

Bug Fixes:

The Melee Attack Bug, where melee attacks would just randomly miss for no reason has been fixed.
The Arcane Skill: Mage Shield now works properly and no longer blocks player attacks.
The Money / Item duplication bug has been fixed (Mostly - or has it? lol)
The Cosmetic System is now less buggy - mostly working as intended.

And many more game improvements and fixes!

This new update is delivered free to all players who have purchased the game in Early Access.
