While trying to make the story progression smoother, I changed a condition for triggering a cutscene about half an hour ago. Unfortunately, that change caused the main quest in the first town — “Ask Xiao Hui to Help Shoot an Advertisement” — to become impossible to complete. (It was working before, and I accidentally broke it…)

If you are currently stuck on this quest, please exit the game and update to the latest version, then enter the game again and it should work normally.

The correct quest counter should be 0/1 (it was mistakenly showing 0/3 before).

For players who have already unlocked the scene where Xiao Hui agrees to shoot the advertisement, the quest should automatically complete once you enter the game again after updating.

Sorry about the trouble, and thank you for your patience!

Today is a very special day for us — Box Bakery is finally out now on Steam.

This game has been in development for years, and it means so much to finally share it with all of you. Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for following this journey with us.

Many of you have been here since the early days — playing the demo, leaving feedback, and supporting the project. Your kindness and enthusiasm truly helped us keep going while making this game.

It’s finally happening……

Box Bakery will officially launch on March 6, 2026

At 10:00 AM (China Standard Time, UTC+8).

Over the past few years, we’ve been building this game together with all of you — improving it, reworking it, testing it, worrying about it… step by step. And now, we’re finally here. The full version is ready, and I truly can’t wait for you to play it.

To celebrate the release, I’ll be opening a Steam livestream right at launch time, and I’ll play the game live with you. I really want to share this moment with everyone who has been waiting, supporting, and growing with us along the way.
