Since launch, we’ve seen a growing number of players joining Dreadline: Net Quota from Japan. Because of that, we wanted to welcome our new players, so we’ve added full Japanese localization to make the game more accessible and easier to onboard.

Alongside the localization, we’ve also added new achievements that unlock Japanese-inspired cosmetic items.

A completely generic straw hat. Just a straw hat. No backstory. No special powers. No pirates. Definitely not that straw hat.

A fishing bobber inspired by the lucky cat. It might not help you fish better, but it certainly believes in you.

Because someone on the crew has to pretend they know what they’re doing.

These rewards are unlocked by interacting with the lucky cat in the boat’s cockpit during gameplay and are available to all players, regardless of region.

Menus, tutorials, UI, and in-game text have been translated to make the experience easier to follow especially when everything starts going wrong at sea. This update is about making teamwork clearer, chaos funnier, and survival slightly less confusing.
