I want to like this game because I like building, but if I have build risky bridges with improper materials, an incredibly small budget, and insanely unwise anchors, then I can't continue playing this game while I still have self respect.

It's exactly what it says it is.
Build a bridge and get over it, or don't and mess around with the physics.
Fun game to test your engineering skills, are you cut out for building real life bridges? This is the only test you need to pass (this is sarcasm, please do not apply for real structural engineer jobs).
No game breaking bugs and a fun game to mess around in.
