Unshackled Vision – Teddy’s Haven is meant to be a relaxed, cozy, and ambitious shop simulator that uplifts the genre. Early Access allows me the creative freedom to pursue that vision without compromise.

Community Driven Development – I believe the best version of this game will come from building it with the community. By inviting players into the development process early, I can listen, learn, and grow together to ensure Teddy’s Haven reaches its full potential.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm currently expecting the full release to happen by late 2026 to early 2027. The development velocity has been substantial, and while the game is already in an incredibly stable state, we want to take the time needed to fully realize my final vision. My estimated time in Early Access is about 18 - 24 months. Even after the full release, I plan to continue offering updates and new content to keep the experience fresh and engaging.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Teddy’s Haven will expand in big, meaningful ways. Here’s a peek at what’s planned:

New Locations to Explore: The world will grow over time with entirely new regions to discover. Each with their own characters, resources, and secrets.

Skills & Minigames: A wide variety of cozy skills like fishing, cooking, crafting, and other optional tasks will be added, letting players engage with the world however they like. Whether you're here to build the perfect shop or just relax by the river with a fishing rod.

Shop Expansion & Customization: A major expansion of the decorating and building systems is planned. You’ll be able to construct new buildings and customize your shop to reflect your own personal dream space. Whether that’s a quaint cottagecore storefront or a bustling magical emporium.

World Events: I'm designing a system for larger, story-driven world events that unfold over time and leave a lasting impact on your shop and the world around it. These events will evolve the narrative and gameplay in exciting and meaningful ways.

These features are designed to enrich the experience for both new players and early adopters. The heart of Teddy’s Haven is already here, but the full release will make the world feel even more alive, magical, and full of possibility.”

“Teddy’s Haven is already a fully playable and feature rich experience. The current Early Access version includes:

A functional, explorable world with the core shop management loop fully in place

A seasonal and daily event system that keeps the world feeling ever changing

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. During Early Access, we’ve made it a priority to keep the price as affordable as possible. This gives early adopters a chance to jump in at a lower price point and be part of the journey from the start. Once we reach full release, we plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features. This change reflects the growth of the game and will help support continued development and future content beyond 1.0.”

I’ve set up a public Discord where players can talk directly with me. Whether it’s to report issues, share ideas, or dream big about what Teddy’s Haven could become. I’m active, listening, and genuinely excited to hear from the community.

My goal isn’t just to build a great game, and I believe that journey is best taken together. As a veteran game designer, I’ve seen firsthand how listening to players can elevate a game beyond even its original vision. That’s why I’ve put systems in place to make it easy for the community to be a part of this world’s growth.
