PATCH NOTES: 1.0.1🛠️

Major Fixes & Gameplay Improvements

Implemented V-Sync option in the settings menu
Improved performance and overall optimization
Fixed shooting issues when enemies are too close during attacks
Improved enemy knockback (bash) — bash is now usable at any time and deals minor damage
Fixed an exploit that allowed players to leave the playable area (sorry, speedrunners!)

Controls & Player Experience

Controls screen now appears when starting a new game
Lowered default mouse sensitivity
More accurate shooting while aiming down sights (ADS)
Removed the crosshair

Visual & Atmosphere Improvements

Night vision is now brighter and provides better visibility
Improved weapon and flashlight movement (reduced jiggle)
Added more glow to interactable items so they stand out better
Implemented a brightness slider in the settings
Added an early (“alpha”) version of the Game Over scene

Ammo & Level Tweaks

Fixed ammo pickup on the car on the bridge (was not always collectible)
Added more ammo across the level
Fixed an issue where the same ammo could be picked up multiple times in a short period

Ok I loved the vibe of the game and the fact it felt like something from the early 2000's Over all a fun little demo. BUT i have some serious feed back for you. 1. Pistol Aim mechanics and Enemy movement, The Aim mechanics feel like your purposefully making the fire arm unruly and not in a good way. The sway and inaccuracy of the pistol felt more like i was trying to shoulder fire a sniper rifle then handling a pistol. Even in RL Pistols feel much smoother. 🛠️ Patch 1.0.1 – First Post-Launch Update (Coming Soon)

Hey everyone,

thank you for all the feedback since launch! We’re currently working on our first post-launch patch for Operation: Outbreak

This update is planned for around the end of the year and will focus on polish, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements based on player reports and testing.

Planned improvements (work in progress)

(Not all changes below are guaranteed to make it into this patch)

Fixed ammo issue on the bridge car
Added more ammo pickups
Added a proper "Game Over" scene
Improved weapon + flashlight movement (jiggle)
Brighter night vision
Fix melee bash not triggering correctly
Adjust enemy behavior when getting too close
Optional FPS cap removal
Mouse sensitivity fix
Alternative melee bash control option
Improve the visibility of the interactable items
ESC key can now back out of menu screens
Texture optimizations
Fix screen size related bugs
Widescreen support

As the description said, it was a short experience. Other than that, I loved it. It's a zombie game in a claustrophobic space, and I genuinely did get spooked at some parts. For what it's meant to be, it's extremely well done.
