In good conscience, I can only recommend Tomb Raider: Underworld to those replaying it for nostalgia. If you haven’t played it before, watch the cutscene movie for the story — it isn’t worth suffering the game’s abysmal controls, clumsy platforming and a camera that at times made me feel sick. Combat is bland and uninspiring, which doesn't help. The environments are beautiful and the level design is often good, but it’s easy to get lost and unsure what the game expects you to do.

Wanted to give this a go, but it literally doesn't work. Black screen on startup. There's some workarounds, like disabling all cores except 0-3 in task task manager and doing that every single time you run the game, but with 20+ cores that is not happening lmao.

Truly an underappreciated Tomb Raider Game. I've played them all and this one has some of my favorite levels of any of them. The underwater sections feel like you are truly diving deep into the ocean to explore ruins. Costal Thailand is such a lush jungle and the ruins there feel like no one has stepped foot in them for a very very long time. The only downside to this one is the controls can be a bit frustrating until you get used to them. It was never a deal breaker for me though. It's worth mentioning that it's still a beautiful game, even all these years later.
