I saw this program a few years ago when it came out and I thought that it was another hoax like the "bUy ExTrA RaM fOr FrEe nOw!11!!". But after purchasing the Oled Steamdeck, I figured, let's just try it out for a couple of bucks.

And man was I wrong. This program changed my way of playing games on the Deck.

In my opinion, this should came standard with the Deck. Yeah the Deck can handle games pretty decent, but sometimes you just don't want to handle with the frames dipping to 30-50. It can really take away your experience.

Some games I've tested so far: Stray; standard running around 50-60 (at the spot where I was), with the Lossless Scaling running I was getting capped at 90fps on the deck.
TWD Telltale, from 60-90fps to capped at 90fps all the time.
Arc Raiders had 0 problems. Felt amazing. From struggling around 100fps to playing smooth on ~200fps.
Heck, even with Minecraft with many mods, shaders, Distant Horizons. From 50-60 to 100+!

Ofcourse you can get a tiny bit of "ghosting" here and there or some input delay, also heavily depends on the game though. But overal, totally worth it. Truly a new way of playing the most beautiful storygames out there, without fps problems.

(Only on PC as far as I tested) I noticed in some games a little bit input delay, but was fixed after I changed the scaling method.
It seems like it can generate the frames much easier if you can get your game running at ~60fps default.
There is a little bit more ghosting when you try to upscale from 30fps.

Oh and btw, it's not only for generating frames. It also allows old games with emulators for example that still have a FPS cap, to be uncapped.
Even for movies/youtube etc.

I heard that this program was made by 1 person alone, and for that, props to you.

TL;DR:
Yes, you can actually "buy frames" nowadays.
Just try it out for a few bucks, before you buy a new PC for a few organs.
Worth it!
