SUMMER SALE HUGE BUY

Howdy!

As you all know, the Steam Summer Sale is when the skin prices on the Steam Community Market hit their lowest. I am taking advantage of this time to get some skins for the tradeup on the cheap, and this year I am bringing out the BIG GUNS.

Thanks to a decrease in living expenses and a summer internship, I have been able to more than DOUBLE the amount of money I can spend in one buy. Last year I put down $100. This year, I am putting down $250!


The 100k Tradeup is currently 0.577% complete. As explained in a previous update, the prices of skins has rocketed up due to Chinese demand. With sale prices in effect, the increased amount of money should offset the demand, enabling similar progress to a $100 Big Buy last year.

The most likely outcome of this buy is that the project reaches the mid to high 0.7% range. I plan to get to 1% progress by the end of 2021. I look forward to finally having a full storage container.

Projections for progress gains of buys in the future are difficult to make. It all depends on whether my increase in income can beat the increase in skin prices, and of course, the generosity of the community ;).

I am going to include some backstory on myself in there as well as my plans for the future in relation to the project. I am also considering making a Discord server where people can talk about CSGO, the tradeup, and queue together.

The idea for moving this project forwards at faster than a snail's pace is to win the hearts of the community and snowball. You can help by sharing this Steam group with your friends and telling them about the greatest tradeup in the history of CSGO.

• I am back to streaming on my Twitch channel: www.twitch.tv/ethansitoto Right now I am trying to avoid getting my ass kicked in RLCraft. I will also stream my meteoric (hah) rise through the ranks of CSGO, some random games from a huge bundle I got, and some co-op games with friends.
  
  
• Exercise and dieting are tough and take discipline, but they lead to great results. I had to remind myself of this recently.
  
  
• If anybody knows some good investment opportunites, let me know.

In summary, I am moving up in the world, and this is helping me at least keep pace with the project right now. The problem is, the pace I am keeping is very slow. At the current rate of half a percent per year, the tradeup will be ready about 199 years from now. I am working on upping my income, but another way to speed up the project is to get help from the CSGO community. If the CSGO community can be united under this banner, the timely execution of the tradeup becomes more than possible.
