The 54e régiment d'infanterie was originally mustered in 1657 as the Royal Catalan Regiment. As time went on it moved north into modern France, first to Roussillon in the south-east, then once the Revolution struck in the 1790s it began to accept volunteers from Central France, Auvergne, and Paris. They first saw action at Valmy and Alkmaar against the 1st coalition fighting as the 54e demi-brigade. Once Napoleon rose to power, they were rebranded into the 54e regiment d’ligne, and fought in Napoleon’s eastern ambitions, fighting at Austerlitz, Jena, Friedland, Essling, and Wagram among others.

Concerning its history as a clan, we started out in 2015 as the 5th Louisiana Regiment fighting on the North and South module. In the new year 2016 we decided after a month or two that it was time to go to Napoleonic Wars. From there we rebranded to the 58th in the period which arguably our regiment blossomed the most. We lasted for roughly 5 months until tensions got high and we decided to disband. It was not long after however after that we once again rebranded, this time under a new leader who was a Lieutenant, and became the 9thRM. Similarly to the 58th, we had many people who came and went, but after a while attendance slumped and toward the end we were practically not having any events. On December 1st, we once again decided to rebrand under the old leader as the 54e which we are today. Since then we have bounced between our original leader and our 2nd in commands. However our old leader has returned and we are hoping to bring the regiment back to its former glory.

Any new cadets are to be invited to this group, only after promotion are they to join the main group.
