I was considering unbanning Tyro for awhile, but ultimately decided against it, as he's progressively become a negative presence to the server and the community. This became especially evident after his own server was shut down. He developed an open dislike for those in decision-making rolls for previous arena 2fort servers when he was declined admin, despite having applied many times and being a long time member of the community. I believe he simply became disenchanted with the prospect. I recall supporting him and suggesting to those in charge of such decisions that he be given a chance when he applied his last time. A bit later he rented his own server, Embercore was sold, and after a short time, funding for a new arena 2fort server was made available. I never saw him as a competitor; I and those supporting it simply wanted the arena 2fort map to be made available to people that enjoy it as much as we do. I don't think he saw it that way, and when he closed his server, he became bitter. I truly wanted him to be a part of our community, I've played with him for years. If you've been around you know that I don't prefer banning. That being said, the only bans the sunder server had in the months it was up were the alts used to grief the server in the last day or two before it shut down. People just wanted to enjoy it while it was still up, as the future of arena 2fort was uncertain. An IP trace of one of the alts that had been capping, stalling and generally making it unenjoyable for players lead to Tyro. Previously, he'd been warned about camping for long periods of time forcing teams to successively cap against him and responding with "I really don't care". I truly gave him as many chances as I've ever given anyone to stop being a subversive drama king, so if he's spouting of injustice and prejudice against him, I urge you look at it objectively. In reality, his actions and attitude are what got him banned and it wasn't for lack of trying.
