Lets face it: we've all been there:
"You're playing some mission in some game with a group of people you've never heard of in your life. You raise your weapon and strike down a group of foes who (a few seconds ago) had posed a significiant threat to you, your new comrades and the treasure your all surely due. But before you can turn around and reap the benefits of your sound tactical decision, you're mowed down / stabbed / eviscerated / digested by a hoard of bad guys who waltzed in and set up camp in in your backyard because your so-called "team-mates" left you for dead."

Now this next part might be a history lesson for some of you, but bear with me, theres a point I'm trying to make. In the times of old, a Greek nation by the name of Rome revolutionized warfare with an infantry formation called the Phalanx. The principle behind this tactic was that every soldier in the Phalanx would use his shield to protect the flanks of the men at his side, moving and striking as one entire unit. In the field, the Phalanx became a walking, near impenetrable wall of metal and death. No one individual made the Phalanx great: its success was derived from the sum of its parts.

These words, perfectly explain what Black Fang is all about.
The hard truth is that good team-mates are hard to find; so we call upon all of those who, like us, demand something more out of their fellow gamer.
