A group for playtestin' peeps!

A group for anyone and everyone who's up for playtesting Cheshire's TF2 maps. This just seemed a way easier way to ensure folks who are up for playtesting can be sent messages in one hit. Feel free to invite friends :)

There's no obligation to play at each test or anything, just join in the sessions when you're free and that'd be awesome.

SERVER: All playtests take place at "Landmine Gardens" - 202.60.82.133:27017

Feel free to hang out on the server :) If I'm around, I'll be happy to change maps for folks.

Thanks to the Tallest, you can now download the playtest maps when you connect.

This should make playtesting way less of a headache for everyone :)

Playtesting Door Prize!

Hey folks,
In an effort to drum up numbers, I'm going to start doing a 'door prize' for those that show up. Every 2nd test, I'll draw names from a hat of those who played in the last TWO tests - If you play in both, your name goes into the hat twice.

The door prize will be your choice of a $20 or less Steam game.

Conditions:
1) You must show up on time. Anyone who's more than 2 minutes late doesn't go in the raffle.
2) You must actually try - Not just goof about.

A playtest WILL happen this week :)

Folks - I kinda put off playtesting while waiting for daylight savings to end.

Unfortunately, first attempts to set up a fast download server failed... So at the moment, you'll still want to go to my filefront page to grab maps first. I'll make sure cp_reactor_n5 is up today.

Hey folks, thanks to those who came for last night's playtest... Once again I'd gotten less than I hoped for, as I'm stinging to see how the map flows when there's at least 8 a side.

I might see if there's something I can do to get people to flag when's good for them - Hopefully a weeknight :)

Finally, I'm going to do something to sort a fast download server for the map file. It's become obvious that it's stopping folks from playing on short notice, which is bad.

Was a smaller turn out than I hoped, but you get that on Valentine's Day I guess. The good news, we still had an enjoyable game and it seems like the changes I'd made over the holidays all went down well, so I'm now pretty happy the map is close enough to the right shape to decorate (huzzah!).

Big shout out to the dudes who played, I already started adding in your suggestions :)
