Rather than simply driving to the nearest military spawn with your comrades and engaging in a loot gathering free for all, I have suggested a method to cut down on losses should there be an ambush waiting for you. Very simple, one person in the group is designated the looter/packhorse, while one or two people stay in cover out of sight and keep watch as the looter picks through the item spawns. Looting runs should take at maximum 3 minutes, starting when the looter enters the area. This time limit is to ensure that you get in, get some gear, then get out and back to base with your haul before unwanted attention gets drawn to you. Also, if your designated driver says that it is time to leave, you get in the car and go. No hanging around trying to get just a few more scraps of loot.
