At 0800, our intel at MAC-SOG (Military Assistance Command Studies and Observation Group) discovered an unknown source over the desolated mountain range called Black Mountain. This source, as I've been told, will inevitably start the destruction of life on this planet Earth...Unless...we intervene and stop it...I have specific orders to set up the first reconaissance group code name: RECON ONE. I only recruit the best of the best, that is why you have received this message... Those who are willing to give their lives to protect Earth must reply immediately upon reading this message...We depart at 0800 tomorrow and will rendez-vous with the AHC (Assult Helicopter Company) at approximately 0840 to cross the mountain range. They will pick you up and from then on Lieutenant Colonel Le Duong will give you further instructions.
