Holotech Studios is an Indie start-up, created by a few game development veterans. It began as an evenings and weekends project for us; we were wishing that there was more we could do with the characters we inhabit when playing games. Most of the time we use them for a while, mostly just to kick some butt, then we finish the games and abandon the characters sooner or later. And so we created FaceRig, a software that allows anyone to embody and animate outstanding real time CG character portraits via motion capture from a webcam stream or via direct pupeteeringcontrols.

This group was originally created back in 2013 for the Facerig Crowdfunding campaign, but now in 2018 it is about to be transformed into a group for discussing all Holotech Studios Products that relate to avatar-based interaction and avatar embodiment.
